Heidi lives the fashion industry and went to college to complete a fashion course. When she finishes she gets a job as a go to girl who makes coffee, cleans up after the models ect... Heidi is noticed by Kaiser, owner of a fashion business at a fashion shoot and Kaiser leaves a note for Heidi. Heidi reads the message the next day when it is given to her and races to meet Kaiser before the deadline. Heidi is 5 minutes late, Kaiser offers her a job and then punishes her. What is the punishment, what is the job and what does Kaiser have in store for Heidi. Read the book to find out. A thoroughly hot and thrilling read.

Heidi is hired by Kaiser to be his (very) personal assistant. Kaiser is a wealthy fashion impresario who takes a liking to Heidi and her booty. Minor believability issue: a fashion god who is a straight alpha Dom, really? No matter, as it lets him shower Heidi with beautiful, expensive clothes after showering her with strokes of his belt. The depth of her submission and surrender ultimately conquers his heart. After many designer dresses and red bottoms, he falls in love with her and she gets her HEA.The story is a short, fast and fun read and the sex scenes are definitely hot. The relationship between the two of them is sweet in a D/s kinda way. If you dream of having or giving a well-tanned bottom, check it out.

HEIDI AND THE KAISER by Selena Kitt is a short read that’s heavy on the kink. Told in first person point of view, we only see Heidi’s perspective.Likes: Overall the story is well-written, progresses quickly, has all the elements of good storytelling, the D/s and BDSM scenes were well-written, and I loved the fashion insertions.Dislikes: I had no emotional attachment to any of the characters. Telling stories in first person can be difficult at best maintaining a consistent voice throughout. The downside to first person, is that lack of understanding of other characters’ motives (since we only have Heidi’s perspective), which for me resulted in a very biased view of both Heidi and the Kaiser. Having mixed viewpoints gives us a better understanding of what’s going on with our characters and for me, I have a much stronger emotional attachment to the characters.Overall, it’s a good story. It’s short and moves quickly. This won’t be my last Selena Kitt story, but I also don’t feel any desire to read the story again. Once was enough.

The perfect romantic BDSM couple. I can see why Shades of Grey fans like it. It has much more tame elements of BDSM (nothing hardcore, a crop is as harsh as it gets.) It is a very good short story. Can be read in a single sitting, or two and thoroughly enjoyable.

I have to admit that the author writes very well. Only a good writer can make you hate a character so much. To bad it was the female character. She was so pathetic, insipid, and annoying. I almost quit reading at 56% but I have an annoying problem of saying "It has got to get better" No, no it doesn't. She only gets her dream in the end because someone else steps in. Why do some authors think the female has to be weak. I am only giving 2 stars because it was well written. Otherwise it would be 1 or lower if I could. I am willing to try one more book by this author but it had better be worth it or I'm done.

Heidi stumbles over the feet of Warren Kaiser at a photoshoot. He then disciplines her for ruining his trousers. He also offers her the job of his assistant. She accepts the contract and learns the meaning of discipline.I liked Heidi. Kaiser was harder to like. I liked Heidi's friend Lenny. He protected her when she did would not stand up for herself. I knew that eventually Heidi would get to Kaiser and I was happy with the ending.Selena Kitt is one of my favorite author's and I look forward to more of her books.

Totally unrealistic story. What man or woman would EVER do what happens in this novella!! I would hope that no one would and to me the story is just CHEAP porn that might thrill some lowlife male. A male can be dominant but this story is ridiculous!! Any woman that reads this and thinks it is hot needs to give her head a shake and work on her self-esteem.An absolute waste of time and money and the author needs to raise her standards in her storylines. I also need to raise my standards and should not have finished reading this crap! Shame on you and shame on me!!!!

This is pure fantasy, Secretary channeled in a fashion house. Selena Kitt pushes boundaries in her books, and this one is no different. Being given away is one of those taboo fantasies that pushes the right buttons for me, but I can see that might be a problem for some. The writing was so well done that I found myself lost in the pages. This is a rare contemporary storyline that doesn't preach, apologize or try to teach. It instead tries to suck you in and get you hot and bothered at the same time. It definitely succeeded for me!

Very raunchy, made me blush a few times! Worth a read - good storyIf you liked 50 Shades of Grey you would probably enjoy this.

A highly improbable tale of a rather nasty wealthy man who gets his kicks out of subjugating women. There dad to be a happy ending but it was not believable.

First time read for this author and my last did not like the story line felt is was very disrespectful of women
