Product Great, Retail Packaging Good, Shipment Packaging Terrible
This is a valuable addition to the BSK 2000. The extra room and the cast iron are well worth the price. I ordered this as a Christmas present, and it was packaged along with a diffuse kit I also ordered. Unfortunately it was very poorly packaged, and the cast iron was in pieces on unpacking. The good news is that I was able to get a fast turnaround on replacement, even if I did feel silly packing up a broken grate for return. Bottom line - I ended up with an intact grill, and it is a great product.

Damaged package.
This box is heavily damaged and is covered in tape, so that is how it was shipped. Since this is a Christmas gift I am very concerned that it is damaged or broken because we know these grates are brittle and known to break easily. Very disappointed.

Great for use in Large Big Green Egg
I use this inside my Green Egg and it fits perfectly! Gives me way more room, and I can do things like veggies or hot dogs on the top rack while I load up the "normal" cast iron rack with meat. The cast iron grate makes really nice grill marks on my food, and the fact that the top rack swings out of the way is brilliant. The only thing I would caution is that swing the top out slowly - stuff could fly off if you aren't paying attention.

Great up grade to my smoker. Well worth the high price. Have used four times already love the added space.

grate works but...
It is not centered directly over the other grate and it bends down at an angle when weight is placed on it.

Rusted out after one use
Way too expensive to rust after one use.

Big Steel Keg Cooking Grate
This is the same heavy duty grate that came with my Bubba Keg Grill. It is a very good grate for all kinds of cooking and comes with the warming rack. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
