Good Safe, but doesn't seal all the way around as it should
The safe is solid and relatively easy to assemble. One of the bolts broke when tightening, but that isn't a big issue and I am sure they will mail me a replacement. The biggest problem I have is that the safe doesn't seal between the pieces. The metal seals around the bolts, but between where there isn't a bolt you can see daylight coming in from the side. I was hoping it would be air tight like other safes to keep ammo and weapons dry from humidity. They could easily have a rubber or silicone seal that we squeeze together when we assemble the safe. there shouldn't be light coming in all the way around it.

Yea quality safe
If not for a modular safe I would not have a safe. This gave me the opportunity to not only get it into my home, but place it exactly where I wanted, make no mistake this is a sturdy robust heavy safe, it took two of us to assemble….it is absolutely very well designed,,,,delivered by common carrier right to garage in a timely manner, very pleased

Good safe
Great idea for a safe. Love the fact that I can have a huge safe and be able to take it apart and move it if necessary. The "safe" itself would get 5 stars easily. Very easy to put together. I'm not a pro body builder and I was easily able to build this vertically in place and by myself. Very sturdy as well. The 4 stars comes from the upholstery and the shelves. The upholstery was glued on the boards but had lots of over hang and excess fabric, had top staple several sections and add screws to secure the shelving. After trying several times, I could never get the shelves level, they were pretty close but not level. There was also a rip in the fabric on the floor despite everything being packed really well. It also came with a pretty good ratchet and socket. Overall, I expected a little better quality for $2,000 but it's a GREAT safe overall

An absolutely resilient titan! Hornady SnapSafe Super Titan XL Double Door
Absolutely resilient! A true titan indeed!I live in an upstairs apartment and getting a "conventional" safe up the flight of stairs, around hairpin corners, and then finding an inconspicuous location inside just isn’t practical. Of course, this must all be done without alerting my fellow community dwellers (and some of them who are unscrupulous) that I have a brand-new GUN safe.Purchasing that kind of safe, under my current living situation, is just advertising to the criminal element to break into my apartment. This is just not a good idea. You might as well put up neon lights and advertise that on the Las Vegas strip! Now, bear in mind, there is NO such thing as an impregnable safe, regardless of the manufacturer. However, after spending a lot of time researching modular safes (Dakota Safes and Zanotti Armor are the other two competitors), I chose the SnapSafe Super Titan XL Double Door by Hornady. The safe came discreetly shipped inside a nondescript cardboard box attached to a pallet, which is a definite plus! Once the bill of delivery was signed, the pieces were moved covertly, and conveniently into a hard to reach area of my dwelling space.Once the safe was assembled, you could truly see that it does, in fact, have all the security of a conventional, welded safe! Additionally, it is an easy-to-manage, easy-to-assemble gun vault with a 9-gauge STEEL body, 3/16 thick SOLID STEEL (7 Gauge) doors, outstanding fire rating, and the portability that ONLY a modular safe brings.A drawback to this safe is that it is not wired for electric. But, lights can still be installed with the Lite Tech LED Safe Light System from Max My Safe (www.maxmysafe.com) which only requires batteries.Buy this safe with confidence! It won't fail you when it counts.

Great Investment
Great product & Idea. I had an issue with mine upon assembly. The floor panel cracked in half. Seller contacted manufacturer and within days I had a new floor panel with steel crossmember supports sent directly from manufacturer. Word of advice make sure You have these supports before adding weight. Great and speedy customer service and a great lifetime factory warranty on this product from fire and theft. Snapsafe is now owned by Hornady who is an iconic entity in the world of ammunition, reloaders & other products.
