Well built, easy to use product.
The product came in a plastic box that is great at keeping all the connectors in one place. However, some of the connectors easily move to other areas in the box causing them to get muddled up a bit which can make it difficult to try and dig out the connector that you want to use however this does not affect the use of the product at all.The connectors work great and are easy to use with detailed instructions on the box telling you what you should and shouldn't do with them. Overall, a great product for a great price.

Simpicity, ease of use, can solder joints without a power supply, repair in the field or workshop
I purchased the joints to make a neat job in my Land Rover, fix some wiring alterations on my Triumph motorcycle and generally have 'to hand' for other repairs. If you have evolved as a hobbyist from simply tying wires together and want a soldered joint, then you should try these. The shrink wrap works well, the solder does melt and appears to melt its way into the wires. After a minute or so, the temperature has gone, the shrink wrap has hardened up and the joint goes firm. I used a gas lighter for a couple, then tried a soldering iron. I ruined one joint by overheating everything (my bad). I would buy these again and happy to have in my tool kit.

Good product, needs a bit of practice to get results
Good quality fittings, but they need a bit of practice before success with jointing. Watch a you tube video before attempting to use, nodoubt a good product but takes a bit of practice.

Easy permanent waterproof cable splices
I wish I'd found these years ago!Really easy to use after a bit of practice, much more vibration resistant than a choc block or a crimp.I've used these on motorcycle heated grips that normally use bullet crimp connectors but have previously broken at the point the cable enters the crimp. These splices will be much better because the cable remains flexible.I've used professional underwater cable splices before and these are a similar concept, the hot glue melts and bonds to the insulation making it waterproof.Just be careful not to overcook the insulation! The sleeves themselves can take a remarkable amount of heat (but I didn't apply a direct flame). I've added before and after photos and you can see where I've scorched the blue wire. That one is a redo.Overall a fantastic product for a good price. I bought from this seller because they had more of the middle sizes and fewer of the very large and very small. Case is pretty neat too, as well as all the information about. Just the job!

A simple and good alternative to soldering
I didn't really have much of a purpose for this product when I bought it I just figured it'd be useful as a quick fix if I needed it. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to use and how good the connection was in both terms of continuity (the image of the multimeter screen is from testing it) and strength - I physical tried to pull the wires apart once joined and it'd take a lot of force.I followed the instructions (provided o the packaging) precisely and I'm really happy with the result. It probably won't take over actually soldering wires together but it's certainly a very good alternative.

Nice and easy way of connecting wires
Convenient way to solder wires together. I do not have anything against soldering wires, but if there is a much more convenient way of doing it - why not do it. As this product contains solder in the shrinking tube, this is much more versatile and better product then shrinking tubes. Once the tube has shrank / solder melted on to wire, it holds the wires together far better then shrinking tubes. Quantity wise - there is a fair amount of the wire connectors and decent variety of sizes for the price. Overall i can strongly suggest this product.

Not had much luck with these so far
I think the idea is good but I have not been able to use these in tight spots (where I would typically want to use these) and I have not got the hang of applying the right amount of heat so far.I suggest you get some to try them out before trying to use them in situ. I will persevere but I cannot recommend them as yet.

A revelation in repairs or hobby lectrics
I'm not a sparktritian but i have an Ex Mil Land Rover and all the local garages here are shoight and rarely do work worth half what they charge - so i repaired my brake lights my self. These little connector devices proved to be excellent and are waterproof and tough. I was happily surprised. A great product. You will need a heat gun as a hair dryer will not do (tried it) . I didn't use naked flame as it says not too, but i suspect if stuck on a desert island it would probably work if careful.
