It was dry and didn’t taste well, I was not happy with it.👎

The ham was hard to cut it just seems soft all the way through the flavour was very nice but not like the usual ones I have. I’ve had many hams from you, but this one was definitely not the same as all the others I have received in the past

This review is from a Spaniard, although I’ve been living in the UK for so long that I usually refer to myself as “Spanglish” 😂 (If you could hear my brum accent you would understand. 🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣I tell you this so you know that I’ve eaten more ham than anyone can possibly imagine. So I know what I’m talking about when Serrano ham is concerned.Now down to the facts.. When I buy anything online I always read the description and customer reviews.On this occasion I couldn’t read reviews because there was none, so I read the description and compared it to another few ham legs this seller has also advertised.I chose this one because:It was Ibérico/ Pata negra24 month curation time (I wouldn’t recommend you never buy 6/8 months cured Serrano ham legs as you will receive meat and not fully cured ham)When I received this leg...It’s only 50% Ibérico / pata negraAnd curing time is 18 months😳😤If I buy a horse, I want to receive a horse not a donkey!ProcessIt’s arrived vacuum packed, which is good because it means that travelling wise and storage wise, the hamlet remains intact and in best condition possible at the time of delivery. I do recommend that you remove it from the vacuum packing at least one night before. Place it on your leg holder and cover it with a cotton cloth.It tastes good. It tastes as it should: Serrano ham!What would I improve?I would start by advertising the item exactly how it is!ConsAs mentioned, I do not like to buy one thing and receive another.So curing time and origin must be made clear to the customer before purchase.I don’t want to receive surprises by reading the label once the item is already at home!Would I buy again?Not really.For this amount of curing time and the fact that it’s only 50% pure Ibérico, I will try and search for another ham leg. Specially at this price.Would I recommend?As long as you’re aware of what you’re buying and you are happy with it then go ahead. I can only be completely honest and say, that I was truly disappointed to find that the label of the hamlet and description advertised on Amazon was not the same.

If you like Spanish ham you will know how good this is, good value for money and excellent service.If you like it without fat get it vacuum pack slice and ready to eat.Thank you Black Huff.

I’ve been buying one of these hams each year at Christmas for my Pops from M&S in the Uk at 2/3rds the price of this which also included a stand and knifeThis was more expensive and nowhere as good, disappointed 🤷‍♂️

It arrived on time, the meat was very good but it is a shoulder, the ratio of bone to meat means that there isn't a great amount of meat. Next time I would get a leg. easier to carve and better meat to bone ratio. That said the meat was excellent.

I ordered 4 times to you ,the last one come with mold one it i try to contact you so we can sorted out o cut it i try it its very soft and taste different,can you send me a new one
