HIKINS10” PH+ Alkaline Water Filter Replacement Cartridge with Natural Mineralized Ball & Calcite for Reverse Osmosis System Pack-1

This did make the water alkaline and the material inside was fine, but the fitting as you can see, would not properly seat causing a big water leak. Seems like there was defective threading which would give out when attempting to tighten. You can see by the picture that it would go in straight up until it needed to seal together with the o-ring, then it would angle.Update 1: 9/2/19Seller politely contacted me and offered to send a replacement. Updating rating and will review the replacement. Things happen and the seller has taken a very positive step in correcting the issue.Final Update! 9/9/19I received the replacement filter and the two fittings were able to be threaded and tightened perfectly. The PH is reading 10+ and the water tastes great!Thank you HIKINS for reaching out to correct the situation, and for the well priced quality product!

These work very well. Water here is terrible. This fixes it.

I was producing pH 6.5 with 5 stage RO and after adding this product am producing 10+. Seems like a big jump, any idea why or how to adjust? Was hoping for 8-9.

I have a water catchment system that runs water through a UV filter and through a iSpring RCC7 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filtration System for drinking purposes. I was looking for a way to add better taste to the water which, although clean, definitely was not the quality taste for which I was aiming. I decided to add theHIKINS10” PH+ Alkaline Water Filter Replacement Cartridge with Natural Mineralized Ball & Calcite as a sixth stage for my five stage system. My family and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The water tastes like store bought bottled water and is definitely not as acidic as before. We enjoyed the taste and the reasonable price so much that I ordered three more to have on hand so I never run out. You’ll never want to go back to a five stage after experiencing the difference. Highly recommended!

For those of you who have and are educated with Reverse Osmosis Water systems you'll know that they strip everything out of the water including the Good Minerals that is why RO systems have kinda gotten a bad Rap lately but un-justly.. you just need a Good Post Filter that adds minerals and PH back to the Water after being purified.. this Filter is good.. I have an actual PH meter... my RO water was at about 6.2 PH and after installing this Filter I am getting 8.0 to 8.1 so it almost gave a full 2 points on the PH and for $15 that is Great.

I couldn't use this cartridge because, like other buyers, mine had badly cut threads, preventing proper seating of the hose adapters.Update 1/17/2021: I accidentally purchased two more of these. One of them has defective threads.
