It's a nice product. I like how you can keep it on a calendar display screen or a slideshow. The only issue that I found with it is that I can't seem to find any sort of internal memory for the photos, so it wouldn't hurt to buy an SD card.

I bought this as a gift for a friend whose pet had passed. I have one for myself and it is lovely to be able to upload the photos and see them scrolling when you are missing them.

Nice frame but has its quirks. loading photos and deleting photos is troublesome.Just when you think you have the photos deleted...no not yet they are still playing.Then you have to go back in the files and find the duplicates and delete them. I have spent more time trying to get this set up as a gift for my Mother. If I knew it was going to be such a hassel I would have passed on the purchase. The photos do play well and are fairly nice.For the price its not bad but having to put the extra time it was not worth the savings.

I never had a digital frame before and was a bit intimidated, thinking it would be too complicated. I couldn't have been more wrong. This is SUCH a terrific way to view pictures, rather than have them sitting in a box or an album that no one looks through. It's so easy to use! Just pop in an SD card or a USB flashdrive/thumbdrive and that's it! The display is a reasonable size, not too big or too small and the display quality is truly stunning. My stuff looks like a professional shot them. A great gift for yourself or for someone else.

Poor image quality by today's standards. Did not recognize a USB with photos loaded on it. You will need a mini USB cable to load pictures to the frame's hard drive which is not included (plug mini USB to frame and USB to computer and it will be recognized like a flash drive or external hard drive and you can drag and drop photos).Review update: I was able to go into settings and adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation as well as change the display from stretch to actual image size and the image quality did improve significantly.

I bought five for Christmas gifts they were for college age nieces and nephews I pre down loaded some pics and included the thumb drive with gift so they can enjoy out of box it has a calendar nice feature for the money a cute gift they loved it only caution is you need to down load pics in jpg certain size

I've read other buyer's comments and they are right about the manual so far for me. As for lifetime of the picture frame, we'll have to wait and see, I'm using it at work and have it scheduled on for 9 1/2 hours a day.On to the meat of my issue with it, the pixelation problem for photos. The user manual should tell you the optimal picture dimensions for display, but doesn't and no one seems to know. The auto resize feature just pixelates the hell out of everything. I recommend resizing your pictures with Microsoft Picture Manager (free with MS Office). I use it a lot to resize photos anyway, so I tinkered around and resized the pictures I had that were problems.The best sizes I found for rectangular pictures was under 740 pixels x under 560 pixels. For vertical rectangular photos I got 554 x 739 to display alright. For square photos I took the one I had down to 456 x 456 and it displayed correctly.The exact pixel size I don't know, and I'm not going to play with it further now that I have all my pictures working.Update: Haven't had it yet a full year and it's just died on me.
