Non-stick makes for easy clean-up. We have found that cook straight on the plates allows for crispier waffles. I was using cooking spray at first but the waffles stayed soft no matter how long I kept them on there. This makes large waffles, a good serving size is half of one of these waffles. This is so easy to use that my 14 and 8 year old can make waffles on their own.

I have purchased both this (in stainless steel) and the BLACK+DECKER Flip Waffle Maker, WM1404S . Ultimately I recommend the Black & Decker one instead. Functionally, they work identically. They produce the same size waffles with the same pattern, the locking mechanism works basically the same, they both have the same folding handle, they both have a drip tray that can be slotted in vertically for convenience. I measured the temperatures and temperature evenness of the hot plates with an IR thermometer and they're similarly identical -- heating until 450°F, stopping heating until it goes down to 350°F, then turning heating back on until reaching 450°F. In fact, the two products are so similar that I have to assume they're made in the same factory in China. And the one functional difference them *seem* to have actually isn't -- the temperature control on the Bella (which the B&D lacks) has no purpose. I mean, it works. But there is simply no situation when you're making waffles where you don't want the maximum heat, where you don't want them to start out at 450°F. However light or dark you prefer your waffles should be determined exclusively by how long you leave them in. Lighter waffles should be done with less time, not a lower temperature. A lower temperature will only result in an undercooked interior. So the fact that the Bella has a temperature knob isn't a pro in any way, but it is one more thing that can break -- so it's actually a con, albeit a small one. But, so why do I recommend the Black & Decker instead? Quite simply, it looks much better in the kitchen. The Bella is made of glossy-smooth stainless steel, and a glossy-smooth plastic support that looks flimsy. It just looks kind of... cheap. Whereas the Black & Decker is made of *brushed* stainless steel, and a *matte* plastic support that looks and feels far more substantial. If you have a modern kitchen, then your fridge/dishwasher/oven/toaster oven/etc. are probably all finished in *brushed* steel. So the Black & Decker just "fits in" nicely. Whereas the Bella just looks cheap and unattractive. Matte finishes are just more attractive than glossy ones, generally speaking. If you don't care about looks, then just pick whichever one is cheaper -- they will make identical waffles. But if you want this to look good in your kitchen, then I completely recommend the Black & Decker instead.

Belgian Waffles are easy to make with the simple instructions. A very durable machine, easy to clean. Definitely worth the money.

The item is easy to use and the waffles come out great. They cook up quickly, so rapid firing off a few waffles is no challenge. If you carefully load it, the mess is absolutely minimal, and the nonstick interior works well. From my first waffle to my 20th I've yet to burn one and they consistently come out just right whether i follow the built in timer's indicator light or just my intuition. The waffle size is full and large.

I was excited to try the rotating waffle maker as soon as I received it. I followed the instructions fully. The waffles came out great but the product itself was not. The instructions say that the light will turn blue when it is ready. That was really hard to tell. It continued to look orange but I went ahead after 6-7 minutes to use it. I cooked the waffles on Max since I forgot to change the setting after pre-heating. But it worked out just fine and the waffles looked perfect and tasted great! You have to be very careful when you lift the top to remove the waffle that the top does not fall down on your hand. There is no way to secure it in place and it is rather loose. After falling on my hand (just caught my index finger) one time, I was very careful the second time to not let that happen. The waffle maker is a little more unstable than I had expected so I handled it very carefully. I used a one cup measure and that was the right amount for the boxed batter I used.

I had been looking for a good waffle maker and this can be said about BELLA Classic. It’s very easy to use –the nonstick plates work perfectly, and the waffles don’t stick at all. I also love the adjustable browning control, which allows me to make either softer or crispier waffles. The rotating mechanism helps distribute the batter evenly, so the waffles come out perfectly shaped. The removable drip tray is a great addition, making cleanup much easier. One thing to keep in mind is that you need to measure the batter correctly to avoid overflow, but after a few tries, it’s easy to get it right. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. The waffles turn out delicious and fluffy. Highly recommend! 😊💕

Worst experience someone returned the used product and the sell haven't seen it and it was with oil and food traces and smell

Máquina ótima! Tudo funciona muito bem. Único ponto de atenção é que a lateral do waffle não aquece de forma uniforme. Precisa deixar mais tempo pra ficar dourado.

Fué la única con la información de su material interior libre de PFOA, en México todavía no hemos aprendido la relación salud-calidad, por lo que me incliné a adquirirla, ya avía regresado una (gracias amazon) y estoy encantada con ésta, tiene una silueta elegante, toda ella se siente compacta y resistente y después de la primera prueba que arruinamos el wafle (toda la familia quería participar), aplicamos mantequilla y qué perfectos quedaron los siguientes, me encantó lo dorados que quedan, en verdad después de tanto indagar, me volví experta en wafleras por lo que me atrevo a recomendar que lo primero que verifiquen es que el material sea libre de PFOA y PFT. Además de bonita y claro que te cocine en poco tiempo wafles exquisitos. No siempre lo caro es lo mejor en aparatos electro domésticos. Sólo tardó en llegar, ojalá puedan remediar acortar periodo de entrega.
