Hung this in our open fronted awning over our dining table when we were in France. There are usually some flies around but when this fan was running we saw none, such a difference. Our French friends asked us to get them one when they saw it. It moved the air, didn't cool us down particularly but then it was very hot! The lack of flies more than makes up for that, and I would imagine that in a cooler atmosphere it would cool you. It is lightweight, easy to put together and works well even when you leave it running all day long. We were very impressed and very pleased.

Good fan and does what it says on the box.It is pretty quiet, but when it is the dead if night and everyone is asleep it doesn't sound so quiet.All in all it is a good fan.

This is a lightweight fan for your tent/caravan/motorhome. The blades are 9cm at their widest point, and each protrude 23cm from the centre unit the base of which is 12cm across. The fan packs down into its box which measures 13 x 26cm. The fan rotates from under the hook. The rotation is a little clunky and I suspect might keep a lighter sleeper awake. Its by no means loud though. The cable measures 4.65m from hook to plug and the on/off rocker switch is located 56cm in from the plug. The fan unit assembled with blades weighs 365g ,so pretty lightweight and shouldn't cause any issues hanging from a tent or skylight. The entire thing including cable & plug weighs 565g.Obviously you are not going to get a stiff breeze from such a lightweight item but it does provide a reasonable stirring up of the air beneath. It will need somewhere robust to hang from as the rotation is quite stiff, (it does only rotate one way) maybe its possible the rotation will loosen with use.All in all, we think this is a good product, especially for camping/caravanning/motorhoming, where weight is important.

The fan itself is good, however the blades are not easily removable it took 2 of us to get the blades out

Quiet fan, but when the air gets hot, the fan blades melt!

Bought this for my summer house and absolutely love it.Easy fix to the ceiling, silent running with perfectly adequate cooling....very impressed with this little fan.

it doesn't deserve a star it humms smells of burning spins the cable around its self when secure , stopped working & because of covid there's no help for refunds
