Affordable Notebook Alternative to leuchtturm1917
This notebook is pretty good, and pretty great in light of the cost. I typically use leuchtturm1917 for work but the cost was adding up. So I decided to give these notebooks a try. The aspect ratio is different than the leuchtturm1917, but that's okay for me. It's very travel friendly at the A5 size, and I've taken it literally around the world including high humidity zones that didn't seem to affect the notebook tremendously. I am very very big fan of the dotted style notebook. This is my second Minimalism notebook. I managed to go through a full notebook without any damage to the pages or any pages falling out. That being said, near the end of its life, my previous notebook's fabric bookmark fell off. The adhesive wore off it appears. Additionally, the gap between the spine of the pages and the faux leather exterior widened over time, but never to the point that it was noticeably bad looking. So despite these issues, I still liked the overall performance -- so much so that I got myself a second one.Things to note if you're nit picky -- The dots don't align throughout the entirety of the notebook. This isn't a problem for me, since for me, the goal of the notebook is to take notes. As a pen-only writer, the pages do not bleed or ghost through. The only times I see through a page is when I have written or sketched very dark and with a lot of pressure. But that's to be expected of any given piece of paper.Overall, I am very content.Room for improvements:-- Implement adhesives for paper adherents that are highly compliant, in order to accommodate usage over time.-- In operations, create quires/sections with better alignment with one another. I don't mind that the codex isn't aligned throughout the entire book, but it would create a refined appeal if the dots were aligned.

Perfect for my first bullet journal
I was searching for a good notebook to start my first bullet journal in. I initially bought a cheap notebook but found the pages too thin. But then I stumbled across this 100 gsm thicck notebook, and it was the one!Things I like about this little notebook:-decently thick pages that my gel pens won't bleed through (some minor ghosting though)-good quality at a good price!-pages lay flat-soft faux leather cover that is nice to the touch-smooth, both inside and out-a little pocket in the back waiting to be filled-an attached ribbon bookmark!I ordered the yellow dotted hardcover notebook. I am very pleased with the warm golden orangey yellow shade, it's very beautiful and not too poppy. I was also debating between blank or dotted, being worried that the dots would be too noticeable. I went with the dots to make my life easier. And, to my pleasant surprise, the dots are a subtle light grey!Another disproved worry that I had was that the notebook would be too heavy. But, for a hardcover notebook, it's pretty light! It measures to be about 392 g.My only complaint is that the cover strap thing seems a bit unecessary with the hardcover, since the notebook already closes flat. The elastic strap also made some imprints on the faux leather cover. But other than that, this notebook is a real looker!

A journal that is practical, beautiful, high-quality and inspires writing.
Another 5-star review for this lovely classic notebook journal. I got the red with dotted paper and I adore it. I'm not sure yet what I'll use it for. I just love journals. And this one is truly high-quality, at an extremely affordable price, far better than the Moleskines I've had in the past and it even compares well to my Italian-hand-made journals, except for the thickness of paper. I find the paper on this to be medium thickness. It's not your flaky super thin paper and it's not the thick heavy paper either. I've used a number of ball-point pens and no bleeding through. My favorites about the UNNI:** The paper is smooth, feels good to the touch, and no bleeding through.** The cover is soft and high-quality. Nice to the touch.**The size is perfect for throwing in your bag, taking it with you everywhere, keeping at your desk, taking it to bed to write.**The weight is light even though it's a durable high-quality notebook. My other thick Italian journal takes some effort to carry around.**The binding is very nice, lovely threads, 12 dots across the spine of the notebook, very well-stitched.**The price is excellent. I should've bought two ;)!**The quality is high and I'm not one to flatter low- or medium- quality just to be nice. In fact, I can't stand cheap notebooks. This notebook INSPIRES writing.Love LOVE this notebook and will be buying more for myself and gifting it to my clients.
