bought this for my mum to use in replacement of a fillament bulb. its not even 6 months old and dead - would I recommend it - NO!

the tube was fitted to a shaver light in our bathroom, with a good light output, but failed after about ten minutes use.At the time of posting this review I was unable to contact the supplier!

Product was fine for about 2 weeks and then became less bright, about 50% down I would estimate. Not impressed.

this lamp is longer than the 284mm stated in the description, it therefore does not fit the standard light fitting. The return process has been started within minutes of opening the package as it is useless for use in over mirror shaver lights.

The claim of 20,000 hours use is spurious . The one I bought lasted about 6 months June to November. Probably less than 1000 hours use assuming the light was left on all evening for 6 hours for September ,October and November 2020. It was good whilst it lasted. Just wondering if I should chance another one to replace the one that failed 22 November 2020.

Very disappointed. It only worked for 8 weeks. It could have been great because the light is bright. The previous bulb - another brand - lasted 3 years. I do not recommend.

Tube is easy to fit - a direct replacement for the old S15 incandescent tube in my shaving light.Runs nice and cool, and SO much brighter and crisper light than the original.Light colour is much closer to natural daylight, which for me means less eye strain when putting at myself in the mirror.It has been installed for several months now, which isn't enough time to make any meaningful comment on longevity, but I've yet to notice any dimming or yellowing of the light output, which often occurs quickly with low quality LED lamps.I'll happily recommend this tube to anyone looking for an energy-efficient replacement lamp for their bathroom mirror.

Very happy with my purchase. Had to replace the light above my bathroom sink as i hadnt changed it since i had moved to the house (2yrs ago!) and noticed the bulb was very hot and black - not good. The new bulb is so bright and im happy that its energy efficient and better than the old one
