I have used this stick blender for around a month now. (Both to make soap and to foam milk for homemade chai tea lattes) For both of these uses, it performs great! My soap traced in around 5 minutes, and the milk foamed up nicely. Another feature that I like about using this stick blender rather than other mixers is that it has a guard on the blade, so you can put it all the way into a pot and hit the bottom with the guard without scratching the bottom with the blade. These two features, along with the low price make this into a great buy!

I bought this for soap making, mildly concerned about the old adage of "you get what you pay for". Well, this has turned out to be a great mixer. I used it on a 5lb batch of soap and it worked like a champ! It didn't overheat at all and washed up easily afterwards. I'm considering getting a second one as a backup, just in case, since it's such a great deal and a great product so far.

If you need a cheap blender then Get this one. It'll get the job done for less. Worth the money and very happy with this purchase. I got this for my daughter to use to make soap and one of the main tools you need is a hand blender. This blender worked great and did what she needed it to do. CON: it was hard to clean due to the blade and shaft being one piece. PRO: didn't break the bank and will get the job done.

I bought this 9 months ago and it has been the best little gem I never knew I needed. I have used this for a variety of things. Mixing soap. That is what I bought it for. But it also makes great green tea lattes and mixing small batches of things, plus smoothies, protein drinks, green drinks, hummus, etc. Whatever. Easy to use and even easier to clean. I am really just surprised how useful this little blender is. The retail price is also very good on this. I bought it because it had the best reviews for the least amount of money and I too can recommend this. I have had no problems with this blender whatsoever.

I bought this for soap making while then I bought a house and it got stored away! I finally took it out to make some laundry soap and it worked great. It did take a min to figure out where to stir. Overall it did the job! After awhile it does get hot so I had to blend in spirt

Update: What a difference a few hours can make! I originally rated this blender at 3 stars earlier today and have now changed my rating to 1 star after using the blender a second time - after using it extremely lightly twice it cracked near the blade (see the product picture I've uploaded). I was blending liquids so I can't imagine this thing surviving crushing things as the description states. If you're smart you'll avoid this blender and pay a few more dollars for one that's more durable. Original review: This is a nice basic hand/stick blender. The price was right for what I needed it for - purchased for soap making so I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it. That being said, I'll probably look for a different one the next time around because this one ended up being bigger and more awkward than I was expecting and I have large hands (if I had smaller hands I definitely wouldn't like using it). The end with the blade detaches for cleaning which is nice but the blade assembly itself doesn't. I use this for soap making. The fitting is not very secure. The blender has come apart while blending. The buttons are also in an awkward position. It works well enough, I just think it could be improved!

It's a good product, but make sure you aren't buying this to mix your coffee in a coffee mug. It will spill out....too strong for small applications. I like to mix butter and eggs into my coffee....something called a bullet proof coffee....whole other story. Google it. So I thought this would help without putting everything in the blender and waking up the house. Well, it helps to an extent. I have to put all the ingredients in a larger container, then mix with this. But it's still quicker and cleaner than a blender, and more quiet. Not quiet, but more quiet than a blender. So, still serves it's purpose.
