Makes a world of difference.
Easy to install and perfect fit. I didn’t know just how bad my clutches were until I replaced both the primary and driven clutches. What a difference!Quieter start up, smooth shifting, excellent at slow speed, open throttle and everywhere in between.

Worked for only 1 day
I should have listened to the other reviews. The clutch does not return to neutral position if you stop the engine it still has tension on the drive belt and makes more noise. This results in broken belts and a parked cart. Annoyed to have paid for this part and installation, only to find that it didn’t last longer than one day.

Damage in shipping.
The part is put in a box and shipped, no padding or any variety. First one came in with a huge dent, had to send it back. Second one came in, it was dented, but I put it on anyway and it appears to be work great.

Item worked as it should
The item did work as it was intended, the only draw back I encountered, or more properly will encounter later is that the 7/16 threads that the removal tool screws into are not straight, so as you inseert the removal tool it is crooked and it will miss the bolt hole in the crankshaft, and the tool rubs the side of the bore through the clutch so it is tight to put in. I can deal with these issues later, so I didn't return it, and it seems to work fine.

A perfect replacement for your Club Car clutch
Installed as a replacement for the clutch on a 1991 Club Car DS. Perfect fit and operates as new. Great unit.

Manufacturer failure
I purchased this clutch for my club car gas. I installed it and ran it this past weekend for the first time. I had less than 4 hours of run time and the clutch exploded apart. The bolt is still intact but the housing split in two. I will reach out to the supplier and ask for an exchange or replacement. Hopefully no further damages.
