Smaller than full size mixer. But we just recently renovated our kitchen, and the full size mixer would not fit on the mixer lift we had installed, and full size was too heavy. This is a smaller, lighter version with the same power which fits the lift. Perfect if you don't have the room and we are still able to make full casseroles and cakes. KitchenAid is the only brand mixer we will buy...the difference in quality is obvious.

Kitchenaid is the best! I have a 7 quart very heavy mixer that I could no longer lift and that I also did not have room to leave on my kitchen counter. This one is smaller, lighter weight, and does not take up much counter space. I had to get used to mixing and adding ingredients a little more slowly since the mixing bowl is not as deep as the bigger mixers. The mixer runs very quietly but still gives me enough power to mix up my usual muffins, cakes, and bread recipes. The attachments are smaller to accommodate the smaller bowl. The only downside for some may be that the mixing bowl may not have enough room to mix up a double recipe if that is something you do frequently. Overall, I am very happy with the size and performance of this mixer!

Love this mixer! I have the large mixer but it is so heavy, I can transport this small one from the pantry with one hand. Have used it for baking as well as shredding chicken and even made a meatloaf with it.

I have been baking with stand mixers for 60 years. I resisted replacing my 45-year-old Mixmaster, figuring that I wasn't going to be baking for that much longer, and the main thing I do these days is make snickerdoodles every week for my husband. This mixer is small but mighty, and I am so happy that I bought it. It wouldn't be that great for mashed potatoes a family of 4+, but for 2 people it is wonderful. It makes doing the snickerdoodles so fast and easy, and cuts down on cleanup of the area around the mixer so, so much. Definitely worth buying, even if I don't have 60 more years of baking in me.

This mini is a replacement for my 25 yr old full size mixer. I have found the same good quality in the mini as in my old mixer. I love the fact it’s so much lighter and can now easily store it on a pantry shelf and not bust a gut carrying it there. Same distinctive appearance. Handles all my mixing needs and even dud well with brioche dough. A good value for the money.

Perfect size for one loaf of bread. Holds 4-6 cups flour. Recommend getting the bamboo slider as the rubber feet require you to puck it up to move.

I had to give up my full-size Kitchen Aid stand mixer a few years back, because it was too big and heavy for me to lift anymore. Bought this miniature version and absolutely love it! It actually outperforms my old one at making smaller quantities, which is where I am in my life stage. Recommend without reservation!

I have had this for a few years and love it. It is lightweight and doesn't take a ton of room on the countertop. The bowl is big enough for cakes, muffins, meringues, and single loaves of focaccia bread.

Works very well as advertised. I like to do cookies in batches that are usually around 24 to 36 and it seems to be around the perfect size for that. I also made a massive cake – three layers end with this mixer. That nearly took it to the limit, but it worked. The look as attractive, build quality is excellent, and functionality a welcome addition addition to my kitchen.
