Red Heart with Love Metallic Yarn, Purple

Most foil threaded yarn isn’t very good. I’m very impressed with the quality of this company’s yarn. The foil didn’t snap as I was working, a very common problem with foil thread. I’ve used it to weave and to crochet, both items I’m making are standing up to the challenge quite well. The color of the yarn is beautiful and it washes well, too. I tried that before anything else, made sure it wasn’t going to fade when washed. Again, the foil thread of the yarn held strong, even through wash and dry! Will buy more yarn through this company, I’m that pleased.

The simmer streaks through it are pretty! I made a light weight scarf out of it and it was just the right amount to add tassels at the ends. Not really soft due to the simmer streak but not terribly scratchy either.

Much easier to use than most yarns with metallic threads. Very soft.

I love this yarn. It holds together perfectly and the color is great. I do like the way the sparkles are not overpowering and just the right color too. I have already used this yarn and I love the outcome...

I made a scarf for a friend that loves purple and I really like that little bit of sparkle in there. To me it’s just right. Not too much and not too little. Personally, I love the scarf and can’t wait to give it to her for her birthday.

I bought this and some of the other metallic colors for a baby blanket. Yes, it’s soft enough. This line is one of my favorites for ease of use. I thought the metallic piece would get tangled up or slow me down. It didn’t. It’s an easy yarn to work quickly with and doesn’t easily become separated.

I used this for some amigurumi designs and it was perfect. Very soft and good quality.

Love this yarn.. my first time using it. Due to the metallic in it.. not so soft but it ok.. works up very pretty.
