Gets the fleas. There is a certain finality when you comb the fleas out of your dogs coat, rather than topical pesticides that don't seem to completely eradicate fleas from your pet. I use these combs as part of a comprehensive attack on my pets fleas. Nothing alone seems to work, but together with flea spray, flea baths, whole home flea spray, and combing the last of the little critters from the dogs coat, I have put my flea problem to rest. These combs are well made for the price, comfortable to use, and effective. Also nice is that there are enough combs for the family to each have their own. My dogs are getting used to being combed and seem to enjoy it once they did. I also used an internal pesticide bought on Amazon which did not completely work. Also combs out the coat for grooming.

None of the reviewers said they tried this product on a rabbit. So I took a chance and bought these flea combs to groom fleas out my two rabbit's fur. It came with 4 comb sizes and types which was a big help because each of my bunnies have different density fur. The fine plastic comb worked on the finer fur bunny, and the metal combs worked better on the thicker fur bunny. Grooming bunnies requires a gentle brushing motion, so there is less wear and tear on the combs. I expect these combs will last a long time and the cost was very reasonable.

Even if you don't suspect that your cat fleas, this is still a great comb to use to keep your cat's fur looking good and feeling soft and silky. The rounded tips keeps it comfortable, even with multiple combings (as in during a flea infestation) and it's very easy to keep clean. I dip it in a solution of dish soap/water to kill the live fleas then wipe it clean with a paper towel. Works like a charm. The teeth are very close together which make it impossible for even small fleas to escape their doom, and you'll clean a lot of flea dirt off of your pet. To give yourself the best ADVANTAGE TO get rid of the nasty little bugs, pair the comb with a topical flea treatment appropriate to your cat's weight.

Good buy at $4.99. All good quality, nicely made. I use the long tine and long handle ones the most. I'm constantly losing individual plastic flea combs (at $2.99 each) and this was a good solution. Works well on my cat and dog.

These combs work really well! I've gotten a ridiculous amount of fleas off of my cat during his bath using these combs. Different sizes. They're pretty durable working with cat fur. I will say you could probably find a finer tooth comb I've had a few fleas slip through the comb but not enough to make me purchase new combs

I ordered these due to my inside cat constantly sneaking outside thru the doggie door. I was using this 7 inch comb on my short haired dog and two tines on the comb bent outward. I keep pushing and bending them in but they continue to bend out. It happens on my ragdoll cats also. These all go thru short or long haired animals and are easy too clean. But the one that works the best is the one that continues to have the comb tines bend. I'm not sure I'd order these again.
