The Secret Treasure: An Unofficial League of Griefers Adventure, #1 (1) (League of Griefers Series)

As a children's librarian I am always on the lookout for good books that I think kids will like. This Minecraft series is full of books that I literally cannot keep on the shelf; as soon as they returned someone else checks them out. Kids who are reluctant readers may like this series as it is entertaining but not overly difficult, and those who like the Minecraft game will be especially pleased.I recommend this series for boys especially, and the grades that check them out the most are 3rd-5th (older kids or advanced readers may not be challenged enough by these books).

This is book 1 out of 6. At first I was fine with reading a minecraft book. But once I finished this book, I wanted to read all of them in one day! This series is awesome. I recommend it to all those people who play minecraft, and all the people who like twists in books. There is also an AR test for it.

My son loves reading these books. I can't say that I totally understand the Minecraft draw, but he loves them, he enjoyed reading this book, and it kept him occupied and coming back for more. I'll definitely be ordering more books from this series in the future!

My 8 y/old is obsessed with the Winter Morgan series and reads them cover to cover when they arrive. The other Minecraft series don't appeal to him at all; writing style, I guess.
