Can’t fault the product. The display stays off when it’s not in use. Measures very accurately. Physical Buttons on the side an added bonus. Once more, I’m happy in the kitchen again

Every time it’s turned on and Zeroed it jumps up to 2g and then have to Zero it again, it’s so infuriating. Also seems to jump up randomly and then settle back down

There is nothing, basically, wrong with this set of scales for the price.But when you turn it on the battery charge indicator implies that the batteries are nearly flat. Testing them they are fully charged. Then after it has turned on and ready to use the digital scale reads 2grams when nothing is on the scale. Ok so 2 grams is nothing much and its easy to allow for the difference, but it's a little disappointing when you have the Salter brand name.

I smashed out last set and had to replace them. I spotted the Salter brand and went for them. They were a little but more expensive than the "no name" alternatives but that is money well spent. They use AAA batteries so not the fiddly little CR2032 like the old ones. The display is clear and bright and the scales are easy to use. They are smoked glass so very easy to clean.
