Great ice packs. They do NOT freeze solid (a good thing). My husband bought a couple other types and they were so solid he could not lay them over his hip to reduce swelling. Our daughter lent us 2 of these. After husband used them for just a few days, we ordered our own. Not sure I'd buy any other brand/type in the future. Please note, husband put a small hand towel between his hip and this ice pack because - of course - ice pack will sweat as bit as usual.

We like this Gel Ice Packs because they remain flexible at their freezing temperature. Other ones we have found to be quite stiff when frozen.

This brand Chattanooga ColPac is hands down the best made ice pack on the market for long term use. I have used this brand for over 10 years and I use them every night on my back and they stay cold for a long time and I have never had them to leak at the seams or anywhere else like other ice packs seem to do over time. These may cost more upfront, but they are well worth the investment if you need something you can depend on for long term usage. I also use them to relieve migraine headaches which I get frequently. I highly recommend these. I have used other ice packs that cost less money and eventually they all start leaking the gel out of them at the seams or sometimes end up with tears in them and begin leaking. I have used the Chattanooga ColPac ice packs and have never had any of them to leak or tear. The material they are made of is very thick and sturdy and stands up to nightly use with zero problems. They stay cold for long periods of time. I do usually put two of them together inside protective cover that I made for them when I use them and by putting two of these together they hold the cold for very long periods of time. I sleep with them on my back and they are wonderful for relieving my spine pain and for migraine pain.

These are the BEST icepacks on the market! My husband has erythromelalgia and uses these daily.i have purchased a LOT of these and they never disappoint. They hold the cold and the constant use better than anything else we have tried. Will always buy these before any others.

I purchased the ColPac on the recommendation of a friend for my post hip replacement therapy. I found the weight of the pack too heavy against the leg of the inflamed area. I resorted to using my traditional ice pack.

Best ever cold pac. Stays cold for a very long time. Great size for low back. Provides great relief.
