A great start to a new series
Haruomi Io is a high school student haunted by a reoccurring nightmare that he failed to see his little sister and her friend, both killed in a car accident when he was a child along with his mother. He can't get it out of his head that he failed. This guilt weighs down on him when he is being stalked by a demonizer (a girl artificially possessed by a demon) named Zilch Kanoe, the host for Ashtaroth.Blundering into a hunt by a religious organization, he is ordered execution when they realize he is a branch. However, Zilch claims him, kissing him and “wedding” him. Now he has a sexy demon girl attached to his hip.Confused and bewildered, her suspects Zilch wants to steal his soul while he continues to be hunted by a busty nun.Another harem series is underway with plenty of fan service. This series borrows heavily on the demonology of The Lesser Keys of Solomon, a real arcane book from medieval times. It's what Japan does best: take something and make sexy girls out of them. This time, various demons, with a busty nun thrown in for good measure. The story flows fast. Haruomi's is a great standout. The backstory is uncovered and I have my theories on who Zilch and the other demonizer might be. Things are interesting. This series is fun and I'm eager to read more.'Art is crisp, the action is easy to follow, and the girls are sexy. There is some great fanservice, though, of course, contrivances are found to keep our hero from actually hooking up with his more than willing demon girl. All in all, it was fun and I look forward to reading the next one.

the author of Omamori Himari treats us to more action and more lewdness
i want to point out that the author, if anybody forgot, wrote Omamori Himari. So you can expect some violence, and you can expect some lewdness. With that said, Thus far, Demonizer Zilch does not disappoint, though it does seem much darker than Himari thus far and moves at a very quick pace. Volume one is mostly character and setting introduction material, but it's a lot to take in, lots of sad background information and a quick lesson to the reader on what kind of action and stuff will be happening, ending with a cliffhanger as usual with a lot of action manga. If you enjoyed Omamori Himari, this looks to satisfy the same crowd.

Very, very interesting story so far.
As a devout Christian, I can point out that there is so much Biblical truth in this story. So many things from the Old Testament, as well as Rabbinical lore & folk tales of Hebrew mythology. Very interesting story, indeed. Kind of reminds me of Indiana Jones in some ways. Jewish mysticism is quite fascinating, to be sure. I look forward to the next volume. Art, very good. Great detail. Dialogue, engaging & fascinating. Characters, believable, likeable, interesting.

So glad to start his new series
The art is great and the story moved right along. It will be interesting to see how fast the cast grows in the coming book's. Not sure how fast they are bringing them out but I see Amazon has several volumes.

decent manga
only took away 1 star due to the fact that there is A STICKER DIRECTLY ON THE BOOK despite being "wrapped" ... I cringed

If you love demon girls in anime/manga then you will love this
Seeing how this is made by the same guy who did Omamori Himari, I have high hopes for this series. If you love demon girls in anime/manga then you will love this.

Not for me
It wasn't a bad book I'm just not a big fan at all that crazy religious type of shenanigans genre that was present in this manga
