I was a little hesitant to buy as I hadn't ever used a product like this in my cardmaking. I have to say, the ease of use and the results from using it are wonderful. I'm having fun just coming up with uses and styles for my cards. And so little goes such a long way that I don't see myself having to reorder anytime soon, except for maybe getting additional colors.

They are a bit messy and came in a bag with some flakes outside of the bottles not sure if I got a return but it makes me think that they were new because they were full. Overall I the product works as it should and great price so I recommend and plan on buying more.

This is my first time ordering Gilding Flakes.These little jars (4" tall by 2.5" diameter) hold quite a bit of gilding flakes. The plastic jars have screw top lids that are easy to open. Their size is quite deceptive (like embossing powder) since you only use just a little bit of this at a time. It goes a long way!Open slowly and carefully otherwise you're going to end up with gilding flakes everywhere! Later I may get some sealing plastic containers that are bigger to store the flakes to make it easier to dip items into the flakes, rather than sprinkle the flakes on my work surface. I would suggest a mini-vacuum for easy clean up. These flakes are like feathers and the slightest air current/breath will move them around. Personally, I use a regular paint brush (house painting) as a broom for my crafting table. (3 for $1 at Dollar Tree)The first thing I did upon receipt was to put three thin strips of double sided tape on a piece of scrap and gild each of the three colors. Nice color, adhered well, just enough "shine" without being too much. You could gild a large part of a card with these and it would not be overdone!I will buy these again!

You get a ton of product. Bottles are filled. Just know what you will use it for. I use it for resin projects and the flakes are larger. No worries- I just tear it a bit. Looks great in projects

I really like that it comes with 3 different colors in gilding flakes. A lot of products for the price. Wish there was a way to keep the static down, but can over look it with how pretty the flakes look on the finish project.

The containers are bigger than I expected. I like that it comes in big pieces giving you the ability to use them for different designs. All colors are beautiful!

I've bought metal flake before, this is a lot for your money. Actual size is what you'd expect from the photos online and it's packed really tightly in there, this isn't loosely packed. Even for imitation metal flake this is cheap. I'm using this with plastic and paper, it really doesn't matter if it's real or fake. Real doesn't look any nicer than this, you really can't tell the difference, real is just a flex to be honest. Why go for real metal flake when you can have a ridiculously large size of fake? It looks more valuable than it is, I wouldn't charge more for an art piece with this in it but people are more likely to buy something that looks valuable. It's all the fun of being pretentious while being a smart business decision.
