Works great on Cozy CDV255C heater
Update:On October 22, 2024, this thermopile’s life ended. It was still generating voltage but not enough to reliably keep the pilot lit. I will maintain my 5 star rating because, even though it only lasted ~3.5 years (which is still decent for $15), I believe I should not have installed this as deep into the mounting hole as I did. While removing this from my heater, I noticed that the end of the thermopile was sitting directly above the main burner and that amount of direct heat likely shortened its lifespan. Next time, I will only insert it as far as it needs to generate voltage and do my best to keep it away from the main burner. So far so good and at 1/3 the cost!I used this to replace a Q313A11465 thermopile on a Cozy CDV255C heater. The length of the wire is shorter than the original Honeywell unit but it actually makes for a much cleaner install. Also, the element itself is about 1/4” shorter but it made no difference and I did not have to adjust the pilot flame. I measured the voltage while lighting the pilot - it took just over 30 seconds to reach 200Mv which was sufficient enough to keep the pilot valve open (and I could release the knob).Last thing worth noting: the description says 3/8 fitting which is probably the accurate thread size but I can confirm that the nut itself requires a 7/16 (11mm) wrench - same as the original. The original thermopile lasted just over 12 years. If this unit lasts longer than 4 years (given the 1/3 cost), I’ll be satisfied. Hopefully it lasts another 10+ years!

Worked as it should.
Ordered and arrived very quickly. A perfect replacement for our Heat-N- Glo fire place. We noticed a bare section of wire on our original, even though it did still work. Discovered this when we were replacing the thermocouple.Hope it lasts 12 years like the original. So far..perfect~

Works as advertised - will work in Minimax outdoor swimming pool heaters
I used this on a Pentair (Purex Triton) Minimax 400M Millivolt Pool Heater and saved a bundle - it was EXACTLY the same as the part carried by Amazon listed for this pool heater at a fraction of the cost. See part -https://smile.amazon.com/Pentair-Heater-Pilot-Generator-071515/dp/B004FS9YC8/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1533865286&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=thermopile+for+minimax+400M+pool+heaterThe Pentair Part is $82.20 not an amazon prime part - so expect over 2 weeks to standard ship. This part was $8.49 /Prime - so it was received in 2 days. Perfect fit and cured my pool heater problem - short cycling on & off couldn't heat pool properly took days to raise over 10 degrees - also had trouble cold starting the heater - once I changed this part - heater fired up instantly from a dead cold start - and remained on at full flame for as many hours as I had the pool pump running - raised pool temperature 20 degrees F in less than 8 hours overnight to 93 degrees F, from 75 degrees in 27,000 gallon pool, before changing thermopile this would take 2 days of constant on/off cycling - amazing how a device that puts our 3/4 of a volt (750 mV) can make such a huge different - old thermopile put out approximately 400mV (< than 1/2 volt) - it was 18 years old, way overdue for replacement - the $8.49 part did the trick - saved over $73 to fix this problem.

Works as designed
Easy replacement, and works as expected. Replaced Thermopile and thermocouple on Quadrafive 36V LP fireplace, and fit was good.

Replaced thermopile in Heatilator GNDC36
Fireplace kept shutting off. Confirmed thermopile was bad by reading 485mv with pilot on. Completed job in 80 minutes. You can save time by unfastening the entire mount the thermopile is secured to and pull it up into access area so you can unscrew the thermopile from mount. Pull the thermopile wire up through the silicone to remove. Reverse for install. RTV can be replaced if needed.

Finally, a thermopile that works.
I tried two other thermopiles and they did not work. This one is more money and the reason it is more money is because it works. Spend the little extra and get an item that works the first time. I installed it in a heat n glow fireplace. No issues at all.

Didn't last a year
Installed last December, went to start the fireplace this morning and nothing. It's a pain to install, I'd like to see it last longer

Worked like a charm
My insert gas fireplace was shutting off after 40 minutes, including the pilot light. Some research online suggested it was the thermopile. That didn't make sense but I went ahead and replaced anyway with this. Surprise, all works well now. Had to take the whole front end of the fireplace apart and bend a couple pieces of metal to get it in but everything went together fine. Take pictures for reassembly.
