As described! Arrived quickly and an amazing series.

I am rereading the series and picking up hidden references I missed before. For instance, in the Masked City, Irene makes reference to an anthology about a person dressed in a cape and hood that goes around fighting crime in the neighboring villages. That sounds like an Alternate's version of Batman!What is most fun is seeing how the character's grow into themselves. The first novel had Irene being very resistant to change and at the idea of accepting help from others. Her progression to acceptance is gradual and the reader learns right along with her, to trust, and eventually love Kai, and Vale as much as she does. Even Silver, the nefarious Fae, as incorrigible as he is, you begin to hold a special place in your fiction loving heart whenever he comes around.What the readers of these novels will come away with are characters that they not only remember, but take with them. You unconsciously will be using an expanded vocabulary, holding yourself in a more proud a regal way, taking notice of things that once passed your attention, and maybe, perhaps, daring to let loose the dashing rogue that is hiding inside.

I loved these books. The characters were original, the stories interesting, and the writing was wonderful. I highly recommend these books!

I bought it because of the Facebook group that im on, didn’t expect it to be that good, i loved every page of these books. Reminds me of ‘The Lirbrarian’ the movie, i know they two completely different thing but the concept is pretty much the same.
