Silicone Rolling Pin with Thickness Rings, Adjustable Designs for Fondant, Cookie Decorating, Pasta, Pizza, 23.6 inch Purple Large Long Pin

I was looking for an alternative to my classic white fondant rolling pin with the colored rings. This one is wider that the traditional pin, which is great for rolling out large pieces of fondant to cover cakes. It has hard plastic “washers” that screw into the sides for three different thicknesses. I have not had any issues with the fondant sticking to this pin and it is easy to roll. I was a bit disappointed that the rolling pin is not solid silicone, which is what I was looking for. There is a thin silicone sleeve that covers the pin, but it seems pretty stout and tight around the center. The instructions say dishwasher safe, but I would be afraid that water would get trapped either inside the pin or underneath the sleeve. I’m also not sure about taking the sleeve off to wash as it may get stretched out or tear over time. So far I have just wiped it down with a damp paper towel or cloth and that seems to do the trick. Overall, I have been happy with this purchase so far and I hope it will last me for years to come. **Please excuse the pictures, I had just finished a project and had not wiped it down yet.**

This rolling pin made my holiday baking so much easier. I previously used a rolling pin with bands but you could not roll much dough. This longer rolling pin allowed me to roll much larger pieces of dough. It was sturdy and I had no trouble with dough sticking to rolling pin. I do have to remove the rings and screw to be able to store in in my kitchen cabinet drawer but that is not a major drawback. I just keep the rings in a baggie so that I do not lose them. Great product.

Easy to roll and control the thickness. Tend to stick to the roller more than the regular wooden so need to flour it more often.

It works, it's actually large enough to be inconvenient at times. The measuring discs are easy to change. Non stick is decent, sticky things still stick to it tho(I've had a lot better non stick before). It's not amazing but it works.

This is the most versatile rolling pin that I have ever had. The thickness ring guides are a definite game changer and make it unlike any other rolling pin. The almost 20 inch length is a great feature that you need to make whatever you want.

Not a good quality of plastic used, every time you put pressure in the center it will flex not keeping the right thickness on the dough. Also you are never able to center the rings on the sides due to the fact that the holes in the rings are wider than the bolts that holds them in place, so you are never able to keep the same thickness all around the pin.

I love the length of this roller. I can’t roll sugar cookies without this product. I have rolled ¼” and 3/8” cookies and it works well. I do think the plastic is starting to get flimsy. But so far it works good.

I'm glad I picked this rolling pin because others out there were not nearly as wide and would have made rolling out dough much more difficult. The only thing that would be helpful is if there were a few more sizes of the ring guides to choose from. Other than that it worked great.
