Billiards Pool Cue Tip Repair Tool Billiard Cue Accessories Trimmer/Burnisher/Shaper/Tapper

I really like this tool because it has aluminum instead of sand paper. Both the tip shaper, and the tip scrapper are aluminum and have a weird micro-fiber like grip. It is hard to explain but the metal is so small that it sticks to your finger. Really weird feeling but it acts like a high grit sand paper. I like it because it is not too agressive when you are shaping where you take out half the life of your $25 tip in a few strokes. I also like the radius gauges built in to the sides. It lets you hone in your english and sets a number for reference. I'm not too keen on the burnisher section because I use a different tool for that. Leather seems to work the best but I'll give it a try when I replace my tip. You only need to burnish once. This product was worth the $$$.

This maybe a great tool for maintaining your tip, but it is not designed to shape a new tip which comes flat such as the;KAMUI Clear Black Laminated Pool Billiard CUE TIP. It did not help in getting this tip in shape as it was not coarse enough. Not a repair kit, more like a cue tip maintenance, shaper scuffer perhaps. No glue, no help offered in installing tip. Repair kit it is not.I'm keeping it anyways as I may learn to like it. did not perform well in shaping the new tip which is what I bought it for. Repair KIT means repair/replace right? LIttle misleading.

This is an excellent cue-tip tool, the best I’ve seen, with the unique ability to burnish the edge of pretty much any size of cue tip, from the large 14mm tips used in American pool, down to the tiny 7-8mm tips used in English 8-Ball. With a quality tip file at one end and an effective tip pick at the other, this tool has all the spots covered. Delivery from the vendor was quicker than promised or expected.

i have never used anything like this but i bought this along with new cue tips that i glued on. I removed my old tip and glued on the new one and used this shaper to shape the tip. worked great and im happy with the results. is better than having to buy a whole new pool cue. some DIY projects are not as hard as they seem. with practice, i think i will be much better at it.

When the 4 pool cues arrived I rolled them across my table and all were perfectly straight. They were 4 different weights from 18 to 21ozs which I also liked. These are solid wood cues so do not have the impact problem you can run into with two piece sticks that around the same price. Do not compare these to sticks that cost $150 or more compare them to other cheap sticks on the market and you will be well pleased.

Good tool to shape your pool cue tip the way you want it.

Awesome little tip tool that any pool player would be stupid not to have for the price. Good design and compact to easily fit into case pocket. Very well made and works the cue tip very well.

Probably not the best of quality, but for my first time re-tipping my cue it is adequate. If I need to do this more often I"ll probably invest in better quality items.
