These are really nice placemats. I was looking for something simple but still cute. They are so easy to clean with is a big plus since I have little ones. They are made well and are.very sturdy.

I was hoping these reviews were real and that these placemats were easily cleaned with a simple wipe. This is absolutely NOT the case - because of the mesh design, anything remotely sticky (peanut butter, nutella, jam, hummus) gets embedded deeply in between the little PVC fibers and needs to be scrubbed to fully come off. This is true even if you wipe it up immediately, because of course in the act of wiping you actually push MORE of the substance down into the crevices. Of course, as you might imagine, scrubbing a placemat is very challenging even in a large sink, as the water goes everywhere (planing down the sides) and furthermore the placemat is awfully hard to hold onto when it's slippery. Then of course you have to dry this dripping wet thing with water in all its tiny crevices.And!!! They aren't actually heat resistant! Simple cups of hot coffee have left a half dozen heat rings on my hardwood table after the placemat failed to protect the wood.Truly the only things that seem adequate about these placemats is that they are cheap and seem durable. Otherwise, a total waste of space and money.

Clearly these are very pretty...but usable?? NO!! At least not with anything hot! I used them for a dinner party and my table was destroyed!!! Not to mention, god forbid someone accidentally spills...forget about getting them clean! I'm sooo upset about my table, I could scream!!

Love these mats. It’s easy to clean if you do it right away but I didn’t notice my husband left a little bit of milk from his cereal and it was a little tricky to clean once it hardened up but otherwise it’s a great buy.

Placemats are smaller than expected. A couple of them are fraying on the edges. Not the easiest to clean because the mats have crevices ALL over.

My husband spills things, it is like a curse with him! I can run these under the faucet, shake them out and they are dry in half an hour, ready to use again! I have been searching for something like these for a long time.

My kids eat most of their meals at our kitchen table, and I found myself cleaning it a million times a day. I bought these placemats in hopes of making cleaning up their messes easier, and they definitely help. They are very easy to wipe down, or to bring to the garbage to brush off crumbs, or to the sink to wash and rinse off bigger messes like yogurt or syrup. I also love that they look great to leave on the kitchen table. My one complaint is that they are already fraying a bit on the edges, so it's hard to say how long they will last. I'm definitely happy with my purchase so far.

Love these placemats. They look great, not at all cheap looking.
