Works as expected!
I have experience with both car audio installs and electronics in general, and I found the install for this to be pretty straightforward. We had a USB powered Bluetooth dongle that plugs into an aux audio jack, so we used this unit to both provide power to it (USB port) and receive audio from it (audio jack), so the whole thing just stays in the glove box, and a phone connects to the Bluetooth dongle wirelessly to play music through the stereo. Works as expected!

not great
Didn’t work for me. easy to install, sure, but what’s the point if it doesn’t work. i may have gotten a lemon, but it’s the second one that didn’t work. first one only lasted about 8 months. you cannot replace the aux cable. it is built into the device.

Worked once, well try another. Got a new one,
Worked once, got another sent to me, I'll update you. UPDATE: works ok but if I put a flash drive in the USB it plays song by song, but cant advance to the next song. It wont shift back to aux 3.5 unless you unhook the battery. Also it whines from the car charging system . I guess I need to add a ground. Not great, but ok.

Easy install for a credible technician.
Works awesome! 5 stars on all fronts. Installed on my 2007 Ford Focus. I have 40 years in the automotive industry. It was a very simple install for me. That's the point. If can't change a tire. Don't both. And don't cry. And leave a bad review. Stay in the right lane where you belong.

Junk
Doesn't work at all on a 04 f150 with factory ford radio with aux button. Install is un helpful but unnecessary if you are familiar with car electronics only thing this did was add static to the am radio lol

Works in my 2006 focus with stock stereo
I have a 2006 Ford Focus with the stock stereo. This fits in the back where a cd changer would have gone. I paired it with a $15 Bluetooth receiver which I hid in my glove compartment. Now I can listen Spotify or any other audio through my speakers. Perfect. Way better than spending a bunch on a new stereo. Plus, no worries on someone breaking in to steal a nice stereo. (You must have a aux button on your stereo)

Does not work with dashboard controls, poor documentation.
Installation seemed easy, except the part about how to power it. It is supposed to be specific to a range of model years of Ford, but the instructions are generic. It plugs into the CD changer control just fine, but there is no way to power it. I spliced leads from the cigarette lighter socket. There is no documentation about what kind of file types it plays except "mp3", but most devices can also play WMA, Apple, etc. There is no documentation about how to use folders to organize music. After install, I could not get it to work with the CD changer controls. I put a bunch of files in the root, and some albums in folders. I expected to be able to use the CD changer controls to switch folders as albums, but nope. There wasn't even a way to skip tracks, go backwards. They simply played in alphabetical order.I'm left with a functioning AUX port because the USB/MP3 interface is so unusable. I put Android Auto onto an old phone. I could have spent half as much for a cleaner solution if all I wanted was AUX.

Good basic product
While this product did what it was supposed to do the installation instructions were almost useless. I checked a number of youtube video's installing similar products to get the help I needed.
