Works Well, But Put Leak Proof Batteries in it
This light works great for spotting pet stains that may smell even though you can't otherwise see the pee spot. It also helps to be able to tell if you have cleaned it up thoroughly. I bought one for my daughters apartment too so she can check prior to moving out. My first one only lasted a year because the batteries corroded and ruined it, so use good quality leak resistant batteries because it does use them up pretty fast. Helpful Hint: I've bought several different brands of these from Amazon at different prices and they're all exactly the same except the name on it. So you might as well just get the cheapest one.

Awesome black light...
OMGsh!!! this is an awakening for me. Never imagine that my pets could pee so high. Now, this light had turned me into a clean freak! I'm on guard now. Love it!! nowI can keep my house spotless. ( pee free) I was so sure my pets were so reserved and had been doing their businesses outside, after all, I walk the up to 4 times a day. Wasn't I wrong!! oh boy hey can fool me no more. I love this light!!

UV light
Be careful what you wish for. This light really works on showing the "invisible" stuff inside your house which cannot be unseen once you see it. If you don't understand this probably don't buy this item, it will save you some grief. On the other hand, if you have animals or a specific need for this type of light, I can truly say it works great. Our dog was getting older and having more issues on the floors, this will help identify where very quickly so you can treat the area. What this light will show you is intense, be ready for the initial shock if you shine this in your bathroom, hehe.

Excellent to find pee pee stains
We have a dog that isn't properly house broken so we use this to find any stains, especially on dark carpet where the stain isn't visible in normal light. This works so well but be warned it's horrifying to see what's on your carpet.
