This steamer is fairly low quality, but it does produce steam. I purchased this unit approximately 3 months ago and I still do use it fairly often- about 3 times per week- to increase the humidity in our vivariums and for absolutely nothing else after being burned too many times. Despite using only distilled water, keeping my face the recommended distance away from the unit (and even further away) and filling the water reservoir to about 3/4 or less of it's capacity below the fill line, this steamer spits out random large, HOT drops. The position of the nozzle makes no difference and has burned me a few times- luckily not in my eyes, but it has been close. The steam is very inconsistent and fluctuates from barely existent to only fair pressure/force, so it is hard to not automatically move your face in closer- especially when relaxing. Those hot drops travel a lot further and a lot harder than the steam mist, so moving even further away than recommended is pointless- the steam will not reach you, but the hot drops will. When I first received and opened the steamer, the mirror had become unglued or unstuck and fell out. Not a huge deal, but it gave me a negative first impression of poor quality, which turned out to be pretty accurate. I cannot recommend this product. It is unsafe, cheaply made and even if it didn't spit out boiling balls, I'd only be able to rate it a "Meh" due to poor and inconsistent steam pressure.

Amazing product! It was very easy to use and very portable.Through a few uses, I could see that my skin was becoming more clear.The water compartment doesn't leak and is not messy at all.The adjustable nozzle is certainly very useful for different heights.The mirror is a great addition to facial steamer.The price was totally worth it. I would recommend buying it.

RECEIVED WITH MOLD & WATER SPOTS INSIDE THE WATER TANK!!! This is disgusting. BUYER BEWARE. I’m so glade I opened the box before the return and replace date passed. I and was about to use it tonight. I was going to have me a nice relaxing facial but I saw this.WOW just wow.

This is my 3rd steamer and other 2 don’t compare to this one because it broke after couple usage. I do facials regularly at home and love this .

This is a little steamer with a lot of punch. I love using this for my skin. I use distilled water so I can also breathe in the steam for my sinuses. The little makeup mirror also helps you tell if you are focusing on one area too long, as you can see the great effects this steam has on your skin.

Worst purchase! Used few times and the water was not steaming well, but spitting out so badly that was burning my faces' skin. I feared to use the steamer since it was spitting hot water. I finally thought I could close the lid since it has a vent. The product now is totally destroyed because the plastic was destroyed by the heat. I am so disappointed with this steamer. It only lasted few uses.

I really like this machine but after a few months it’s starting to spittle while running and the little bursts of hot water really hurt!

Fast next day delivery which is very nice. However, it's apparently an open box order/previously been used. You can see the water stain in side the water tank, and also scratches on the top of the machine. Didn't even want to try it. Return it now.
