Well made and easy to install.

Nice aluminum unpainted piece, no issues and it is long enough to fit the hoses over it as I would expect. Weld looks good.

I recently installed this radiator hose adapter on my Ram pickup. A Flex-a-lite Black Magic fan had been installed two months earlier. I wanted to change out the radiator temperature probe to the in-line radiator hose for a more accurate temperature reading. I found the Flex-a-lite hose adapter had a faulty weld at the top bung where the temperature probe was installed. It was a pin hole that sprayed antifreeze when under pressure. I contacted Flex-a-lite and had the worse customer service and they would not honor the warranty. They said I would have to go through the store that sold the adapter. I explained that it was bought on Amazon and that they are the store. Flex-a-lite still would not replace the adapter or honor the warranty. I explained the faulty adapter had caused the cancellation of a planned family camping trip. Flex-a-lite could have cared less. I will no longer do business with Flex-a-lite and would not recommend any of their products.

The Flex-a-lite inline adapter is a great way to add an external water temp. sensor, or other type sensor that needs to be mounted into a radiator hose. It can be used on the upper or lower radiator hose and you can add up to 2 sensors, or install one sensor, and plug off the other threaded port with the included plug. I highly recommend this adapter, you can't go wrong with Flex-a-lite products.

For the money craftmanship should be better. Wish there was an off brand alternative.

Received a silver uncoated adapter. Same as pictured, just raw aluminum. Thought for the price it would be a little heavier though, but it works.

This works 100% better than the probe you stick in the radiator. My only complaint is the price and the fact you must purchase the probe separately (32050).
