These
If you are doing any terminals for connectors or any other noninsulated terminal, these. Get these. I've tried several of the automatic and ratcheting ones that constantly show up as "top rated" or "Amazon pick" and returned them all cause they can't get a solid crimp without pulling out. These work on small wires, large wires, and even the waterproof sleeves to keep them in place.Nothing fancy, these just work.

Great tool for the price
Great tool. As described. Works well in a heavy truck shop. I’ve used it for years with no issues. A lot cheaper than the tool truck.

Works fine, feels solid
Does what it's supposed to do. I've used it a couple of times to crimp 4mm bullet connectors onto 16, 18 and 20 gauge wire. Seems a bit pricey for what it is, but it works well.

Successful first time use
I purchased this tool after a bunch of research as I needed to make some connections to a small Sumitomo waterproof 090 series plug. I had purchased a bunch of extra terminals since I assumed I was going to ruin them but I was able to crimp the terminal and the sealing ring on and they appear to be solid connections. If you're a pro maybe you want a better tool but for occasional use I don't see any problems with this.

Definitely worth its price
This is a really good tool, now keep in mind it does take some practice between making a good connection and a beautiful connection but this one was actually better than my Mac tool ratcheting open barrel crimper I just needed something quick now it’s my go to tool the thickness and feels really good and the crimps look beautiful

Excellent!
Love this open barrel crimper.I build aftermarket audio integration harnesses for automotive and this tool has stood the test of time. You can't beat the price either,it's pretty much paid for itself .Update 3/24/21: Still using these regularly and they are performing as good as when they were brand new. What an investment these were! I have probably performed 10,000 crimps with these things, amazing!

Decent enough to get the job done.
Worked well enough to crimp 20 open barrel splices on a wiring harness. Took a little while to get a good crimp. The tool works well enough, my biggest complaint is that the labeling on the sizes of the jaws is wrong.

So far, not good for TE/Deutsch crimp terminals
So far I'm not really impressed with these. I purchased these as an alternative to my Klein Tools open barrel crimping dies because I thought they might do a better job with the cable insulation crimp. So far they are no better or no worse at the cable insulation crimp, but disturbingly they have been completely inadequate in all my test crimps on 14 and 16 AWG wire the 14-16 anvil has not provided a successful crimp. I have found that I have to use the 18-20 anvil to get a good crimp for this size of wire, which is not a good solution. The TE/Deutsch crimp terminals I am using are part number 1062-14-0144 and 1060-14-0144 which are going to be used with a HD16-9-16S and HD14-9-16P connector set.
