Easy to use, efficient, gets the job done, and for a good price.

This is junk, don't buy it. Follow all the steps and even watched you-tube on how to recharge AC. The gauge worked fine and indicated that my wife's Subaru needed some refrigerant added. Then I followed step 2 which is to remove the safety seal and screw the gauge back on which will the penetrate the top of the can and release the refrigerant through the control valve and hose. Nothing happened so I carefully removed the gauge and valve and the canister had not been punctured on the to to release the refrigerant. So I reassembled the little outfit and screwed it down as tight as I could and eventually destroyed the larger factory seal and lost all the refrigerant, and still the small metal seal on top of the can was not penetrated.

I refuse to pay someone $250 to refill my AC. This kit works great because it has the pressure gauge directly on the hose. Make sure and read the directions carefully as you must note the ambient temperature to know what psi range you should aim for. You do not want to overfill as that could damage your car and result in expensive repairs.

i had good success using it the first time to recharge wife's expedition last summer, but just tried to use the reusable fill valve/gauge and found the needle used to pierce the can was loose from fitting and would not penetrate the can for a second time use. So although it is intended to be used again, it's poor quality and failed to work a second time.

The refrigerant itself is 5 stars.Here's the reason I took off one star:Free shipping but no prime. Why?The hose is very very short. And the guage is cheaply made - I had another one to use, but this is what came with the productThe can is highly pressurzied and there's no real valve at the top. Once you pop it open it will literally spray everywhere; so it has to remain covered. I think this might be a problem as the hose and gauge seem to be cheeply made and less accurate than other hoses I have.Overall a good product. I completely drained my A/C lines and put some of this in until it hit the blue marker, and the air was just as cold as the A/C pro products that cost twice as much.I would buy again; but would pay a few extra dollars to have prime shipping and a better/longer hose and gauge to go with it.

The valve does not fit as it was advertised. I bought it for my 325 BMW, but just wasted my time and money. Poorly designed.
