Easy setup - Good sound for the price - Radio interference can be annoying
For the price, this is a fantastic setup for your tv that doesn't have quite enough kick. The sound is much better than what you would find out of any standard flatscreen and it gives a much more immersive movie-watching experience. The setup was easy - initially I used HDMI-CDC with no problems but ended up having to use that for another device so now I use it with a simple 3.5mm aux jack. The subwoofer then needs to be plugged into the wall anywhere within the same room and switched on - no setup required there. My main gripe is with how the subwoofer connects to the soundbar. Since it is over radio, sometimes there can be interference and audio "flickering" happens where you just get small bursts of static (this only happens when it is on but nothing is playing). Aside from this, for watching YouTube, this soundbar can overdo the bass with spoken word when there is no music (such as podcasts, etc.) and so I tend to turn down the bass in those situations. The sound quality for listening to music is average. Don't expect this to compete with a SONOS One for example, since it has directional sound, but the bass is strong and vocals are fine. I have this paired with a Chromecast and a google home for stereo audio and it works well enough. All in all, I would recommend this if you're looking to spend <£120 to upgrade your tv sound.

Good for the price
Good sound, way better than the speakers on the TV. Bass is ok, gives depth to the sound for TV/films but poor compared to a normal hifi - you can adjust bass and treble but max is +/-4 I don't know why they didn't let you increase it more? I use HDMI arc for connecting to the TV, this turns off the TV speakers and when you change volume on the TV it changes volume on the soundbar instead so you don’t get a volume icon on the TV but you can see the volume on the soundbar display. The soundbar has a red LED display which I found to be very bright although thankfully it can be turned off with the remote, it is also behind the speaker grill so difficult to read and could be improved. Connecting the TV headphone output to the speaker line in also worked ok, can then change volume on the TV or the speaker however when doing this I got a pop when turning TV on and off. I also tried connecting with an optical cable however doing this you can’t change the volume with the TV remote have to use the soundbar remote so overall HDMI arc worked best. With my JVC TV I found the TV hummed loudly when turned off after using HDMI arc, I eventually found that leaving a cable in the headphone socket of the TV fixed that so I suspect this is an issue with the TV not the soundbar. I haven’t used the radio or bluetooth connection. Overall good for the price, giving 4 stars not 5 because the display could be better and the bass isn’t great.

Good buy for the price
Firstly, reading the negative reviews should be avoided in this case. You’re looking at a sound system that is less than a hundred quid.. it’s never going to blow your mind. However, for the price, the look, build quality and the sound it produces it’s superb. I use it in a converted cellar about 12ft square and it’s ideal. The sub woofer is totally acceptable throughout the volume range.. it actually packs a punch when set in the high volume, high bass regions. Bluetooth works well with an iPhone. Tv works well with optical. Haven’t tried other options of input or FM radio but I’ll assume they work fine too. The white version looks cool and modern and is built well. I really cannot complain for the price. How it will fair in a larger room I do not know but what I use it for it seems to be a great choice. Buying from a local manufacturer also gives me satisfaction. It the dimensions match what you’re looking for and you intend to use it in a relatively small to medium room (uk houses) and your budget is sub £100 then you will not be disappointed especially if it’s a white system you’re looking for. Hope this helps.

Excellent for the price
Set up easy straight out of box and using arc , just purchased a new Sony TV and sound was not great but with this Sound bar & Sub the room is transformed very impressed. I like good sound & Bass but am not a top end specialist at allfor the money this was a perfect resolution. after reading review of top brands at £200-300 I took at chance on this and I am not disappointed. there was a couple of issues with channels buzzing but it was the Virgin box settings not the sound bar and on streaming channels the 5.1 seems automatic but needs turning off to stop the buzzing very simple solutions on the TV & Virgin sound setting options if it last more than a year ill be happy but with three year warranty I should be very happy . ( LED Display could be a bit clearer but no issue )
