It healed my heel.
This model was recommended by my podiatrist (to be worn when sleeping,) for my achilles tear. It was three times more expensive in his office - so I bought it here. It is uncomfortable until you wear it a few times. However, it was the thing that worked the most to heal my achilles.

My husband tried this but it is very uncomfortable to use this in bed. Doesn't use it at daytime.

The device does not stay in place. It should come with a second strap. The strap is need for the lower end.

Just enough play to dislocate
The way the splint is constructed and contoured, I dislocate my talus (bone) if I stretch.
