Excellent- perfect tool for the job
I’m building raised flower beds from concrete wall blocks and wanted to add lighting. I purchased lights (On Amazon) which are meant to sit under the wall cap.The problem is they cause the wall caps to sit unevenly. I posted a question and got a great solution - I had to route out the material.I was looking for concrete router bits ($$$$) and came across this product so I figured I would give it a shot.I traced the outline and cut the channel for the wire with a diamond blade (Samurai 5TBBlue0050 5-Inch... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003SZRX9U?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) and used this bit to slowly remove the material between the lines.I imagine this bit is primarily used for harder stone (like granite) so it made the project a price of cake!Despite the copious amounts of dust (luckily I was outside and wearing goggles, ear plugs, and a respirator) the bit performed flawlessly.I did have better luck with a thrusting motion in and out from the face of the paver rather than side to side but I used the latter to smooth out the cut.The cap stones now sit flush with the top of the wall and look awesome.Dimensions of the tool were also accurate but I did remove my angle grinder guard as I needed the entire length.Awesome tool - I’m sure I’ll use it one day for its intended purpose.

Very handy for those "Oh $#@%, now what do I do?" jobs.
Bought this just because it looked like one of those tools that are rarely use but indispensable when needed. Didn't expect to use it for a long time but ended up putting it to work within a week of it's arrival. Replacing a faucet in a small half bath I encountered a need to cut a clearance notch in the counter top for the center faucet hole (bad faucet design). This thing chewed into the hard counter material like drilling a hole through toast. Will also likely use it for enlarging drain holes in ceramic pots (but haven't tried that yet). Just buy it, you'll figure out what to use it for sooner than you think!Update 12-2020; Tried it on the hardest ceramic pot I have for hole enlargement and it worked very well. I used very light pressure and moderate speed. Post inspection showed very little loss of diamonds, a problem that I've experienced with other diamond tools.

why buy a bunch of hole saws?
I bought a buncha hole saws for my wall tiling project for the areas where my plumbing came outa the wall. Turned out this drum grinder was all I needed and it made BEAUTIFUL holes. I ended up returning all of the separate hole saws as this thing did the job beautifully. please do note that if you have a hole in the middle of a large and thick tile it might be better to use a hole saw. but in my case I didnt need to because my tiles were only 3" wide and plumbing lined up almost perfectly at the edge of each tile so I just needed to grind semi-circles into the tiles. As long as you dont force the grinder into the tile and grind slowly the finished product will not chip or flake the finish off the tiles at all.

Perfect for grinding sink hole bigger for new faucet
Worked perfectly for porcelain sink. New faucet needed just slightly larger middle hole. Wore my 3M mask with P100 filters and ground in place, careful to keep flush/parallel. Took only a couple minutes and got the faucet installed quickly. Did exactly what I needed. Doing one other tomorrow. Not sure about bigger jobs but no problem here! Very happy. Came in one day, too (even though it said two).

WORKS GREAT
I used this for smoothing out edges on granite countertops on a 4 inch angle grinder. I also was able to bevel the edges to match the factory edge, Use long smooth strokes with very light pressure. After that I used diamond polishing pads to shine it up.

Outstanding tool
An absolute life saver. I had a granite sink that the faucet hole was underside and I had no idea what to do. Then I found this tool and less then a minute later it was done. No chips, scratches or bumps.

Don't bother...
Gave these a try because of the price. Feels solid and looks well built but doesn't work. I doubt there is hardly any diamond grit on there. I'm a pro tiler, I know... Just spins on porcelain, takes forever to take off any material... I used it to fine tune holes opened for pot lights and plumbing fixtures... Avoid.
