Great travel. Fraction of the cost
Great bag. Excellent for traveling. Holds a ton and durable. Bought for my son for college and he uses always...tried it myself I can see why.

Sturdy, high quality fabric and material, and exceptional customer service.
I debated purchasing the MIER Large Duffel Backpack for quite sometime. It was difficult to see if it was well-made and sturdy. When I received it, I'm glad I purchased it based on these two points. The first duffel backpack I purchased was coming apart at the seams. Customer service contacted me through this review, immediately, and offered to send a replacement. The company representative was very attentive and responsive to my questions and messages. A replacement was sent out swiftly. The turnaround time to send out the replacement was two days and the shipping speed was priority.1. Company backs up their warranty and replacement program.2. Exceptional customer service.3. High quality fabric + material, and very sturdy.4. It does not feel like a flimsy duffel backpack or bag that you purchase from a sporting goods store.5. Able to fit a basketball, shoes, clothes, large water bottle, and accessories such as a foam roller in the 45L version. I recommend a larger size if you want more space.6. Great duffel bag or backpack conversion design. Use the strap as a duffel bag, or use the twin straps like a backpack (three straps total). All straps are removable and easy to store away inside the bag.7. Understated, subtle look.8. No big brand name logo plastered all over the bag.9. Minimalistic look.10. Excellent value.I'm very picky about sports gym bags. This one ticks all the boxes. It is heavy duty, durable, and has a high quality feel. It is water resistant has the company claims. The minimalistic look without brand name logos being placed all over the bag is a huge plus.Mierlife does stand by their product. They do care. A customer service team member reached out to me first before I even thought about doing so. And they were able to send out a replacement, quickly. Very kind and professional.

5/5
I will say that as I was using it, I noticed that the straps do not curve inward away from the shoulders and this created a lot of discomfort for me. The straps do curve, but at the wrong end, maybe. Great brand, great bag, but I am small in stature and the straps are made to be very durable, however they are also made for a larger person. This bag can take a lot of weight with no problem. I filled it to the brim with clothes but I have no doubt it can take heavier objects, anything you need in the field will be fine. The walls are sturdy and not easy to tear, the storage is ample, true 90 liters, the pockets are easy to get into, and the positioning prevents things from getting loose and falling out. Zippers are sturdy and plastic and metal, the zipper line is plastic, the zipper catch is metal with smooth zipping. Very secure bag.I recommend this for camping and other ventures, def good for hunting. Waterproof as I tried it out in full rain, everything kept perfecly dry. This is built to last, no flimsy seams, no sloppy sewing in the seams. I will defnitely be buying this brand again. Actually, I already did, just got the smaller version of this bag, as the 90 liters was a mistake for my weight capacity. This is a very no nonsense unit very thoughtfully put together.

Great large gym bag for basketball
Meir 60L blackI've looked long and hard for a good basketball bag, so far this is the best I've found for my personal uses, I've used duffles found on Amazon, Nike Elite bags, and seen many others by friends in gyms including ones by Adidas, Under Armour, Point3, various Nike bags and many others. So far this is my favorite bag even though it is a little on the large size. If they made this in light grey, khaki, or light blue colors I would probably buy one of those versions. I know they make those colors in other bags of the same material.Pros/Likes:- I can fit 2 pairs of basketball shoes, basketball, clothes, tripod (for video taping), knee pads, ankle braces, extra athletic tape, contacts, locker lock, scissors for athletic tape, advil, ball pump, sometimes cones/floor markers/training equipment for my kids and their practices, case for glasses, etc... and there is still space for more stuff.- I like the second layer mesh zipper for the shoe section, this means I can leave the outer layer unzipped and the inner layer zipped for aeration and not worry anything will fall out.- The bag seems pretty durable. I've taken it to the gym and courts about 5-10 times now.- The bag can be slung like a duffle or carrie like a backpack. I like both options. Straps are removable either way. You can keep all on or just the ones you want.- I like that there are places to hook carabiners around the bag and on the straps.- I like the extra handles on the sides of the bag.Cons/Dislikes:- There isn't a water bottle pocket. I need to either put it in the bag or clip it to the outside with a carabiner.- There is an extra flap all the way around the main compartment. Some may like this for added durability and protection from the elements but for my uses it is a little bit of a hinderance. It just makes it harder to unzip the bag. I only use it for gym uses so the extra durability/protection isn't needed for me.- For some people this bag may be too big and hefty as a duffle. When I go to the basketball gym or regular gym I am always the person with the largest bag. I think if it was just 1-2 inches smaller in a couple dimensions it would be a better fit for me but as is I still like the bag better than the smaller 45L version. I actually bought both and returned the 45L because I couldn't fit 2 pairs of basketball shoes, a basketball, clothes, and tripod in the bag. So the 45L was just a hair too small and the 60L is more than big enough. A 50-55L probably would've been perfect for me. I'm 5'9" and this bag feels pretty large on me when carrying it either as a backpack or duffle. It's probably the largest backpack I own and I own a pretty large camera bag as well. I like bags. I likely have more than 10 different bags of various types for various uses.- I wish there were 2 medium inside zipper pockets, one of the 2 medium pockets is an easy access pocket closed by a small piece of velcro, since things can fall out of that I don't use it. I need 2 pockets because I would use one to stash my phone, wallet, earphones; and I would use the other to store my lock, contacts, scissors, advil, etc... The inside large mesh pocket works for my phone, wallet, and earphones but is too big and hard to fish around for loose items. And the outside zipper pocket is too flat, tight, and small for my phone. I'm afraid that my phone would get banged up when so tight on the outside pocket. I don't want my phone, and earbuds to be with my locker lock and scissors (small pair for cutting athletic tape).- Some times there is a medium sized zippered pocket on the opposite end of the duffle where the shoes are. This bag doesn't have a zippered pocket there and I think it would be useful for me.- I wish the inside of the bag wasn't black. A lot of stuff is black (ankle brace, knee pads, clothes, tape, etc...) so it makes it hard to see things inside the bag. Many of my bags have higher contrast inner liners, light grey, orange, etc... to make it easier to see the inner contents of the bag.

A solid bag overall
Great bag overall and it has put up to some decent use. The material definitely looks and feels like it is waterproof but I haven’t put it to the test just yet. I personally use this as a gym bag and haven’t had a single problem with it. I have been able to carry everything that I need depending on the workout. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a quality duffel bag.
