Very heavy duty. A must-have if you are hanging from a ceiling. However, it is pretty long, so make sure your ceiling or bar is higher than average or your bag will hang lower than expected.

Works awesome on my 80lb Heavy bag hanging from garage ceiling
It absorbs the energy just as designed. I cannot stress enough that YOU NEED to buy one of these if you plan on hanging a punching bag from a stud in the ceiling. Don't risk jacking up your ceiling and spend a few dollars to make sure the bag is hung right.

Great, until it broke.
I really liked the 150lb spring when I first got it. The mounting bracket, and the house, took way less abuse while the spring was mounted. This thing also makes the bag move completely differently, which was great. Unfortunately, it snapped after a total of just under 22 rounds of use. I would highly reccomend this spring for people who mostly use their bag for a cardio workout, and want to cut down on wear and tear on their mounting setup. If you're a hard hitter, forget about it.

3 months to failure.
1 Star for breaking. Another for making me feel like Captain America when my bag flew across the room.Just over 3 months in and the spring broke this morning. Was only hanging a 70Lb bag, not much slack in my rig, no way should this product have broken this quickly. Failure was sudden not gradual, indicating a week point in the metal.

Good spring, cuts down the bag swing considerably
I had a 100lb bag up with just a chain and a swivel and it really moved a lot. Once I added the spring it cut down on the swing and noise considerably.

Vendor ripped me off
Sent me the spring in a zip lock bag with a msrp sticker ~$10 less then the amount charged. I give 2 stars because the spring works but these guys are crooks.

Buen preventivo para evitar daños por costales colgados del techo.
Hasta ahora y tras unos meses de uso ha funcionado muy bien sosteniendo un costal de 70 lb. y soportando el asedio de golpes. Comienza a oxidarse sin embargo.
