Grandparents need this on hand! Roomy, easy to set up, & also inside EMERGENCY shelter!
So far so good, this tent is much bigger than I expected and super cool! It’s got great room inside and the super helpful storage with rain/wind block in the vestibule. My son loved it, gave it to him for Christmas and we immediately set it. It’s not a real backpacking tent, as the shape and weight are awkward for that, unless you were not hiking far and one person didn’t mind carrying it in strapped to their pack? This could easily sleep 4, or would be fantastic for 4-8 smaller cousins or friends to pack into! Grandparents could definitely use this for when the grandkids come to visit—outside or in a garage or rec room. It packs up flat, so finding a place for it when not in use is super easy. Better yet, PARENTS bring this in the car when visiting friends and if kids get bored they can play in this. Because it’s double walled it’s dryer and quieter, in my opinion. There are great windows to open to get light and airflow, and not leave kids unattended.I would recommend practicing several times to close it, or just watch the video each time until you get the swing of it—which I will have to do as I’ve only closed it up twice! LolAdded 3/2021. Imagine if more Texan’s had this inside their homes. I think more families wouldn’t have suffered as much from lack of heat if they all piled into this to keep warm during the power outages. Would it give them electricity? No. But they would have kept warmer & maybe less panicked. Also consider a Jackery, 12Volt blanket & emergency foods for the next disaster.

Awesome, quick, easy, cheap!
Awesome for the price. People think these easy pop ups are not as good as regular tents but this worked great. As soon as I got it I threw it up in the backyard, 2 hours later it rained. My son and I stayed in it that night, still raining until early morning. It was rained on steadily, not very heavy but constant for about 8-10 hours. There was a few drops that made it in through seems but nothing that puddled or that even would of fallen on me or woke me up. The tent in tent style allows it to breath and not condensate inside, also with that this is not a cold weather tent by any means unless you have a quality sleeping bag. No holes on the screens. Zippers worked fine. Easy to put up. I did buy other stakes and only used them so can't speak on the stakes that come with it. Like another review said rain will pool a little on top, it wasn't bad, did not collapse, but I did push the roof up a few times just to make sure that didn't happen. I never write reviews. This is awesome for the price. Only downfall is collapsing it isn't super easy to get it back to its smallest size for the bag but do it a few times n you got it.

Better than expected
The reviews lead me here, seemed like a great idea and many other had a positive experience. So I took a shot. Initial setup is easier than I ever expected, camping with two small kids I don't get a lot of help so this was right up my alley. It didn't rain so I'm not super sure how well it keeps put water but it looks solid. Another positive is the rain fly is integrated, no second stage of setup is a huge plus especially on windy days. It's roomy but I wouldn't say six people roomy, more like 3.5, I'm tall and so is my wife this might be a little tight for all 4 of us and with one door someone is getting stepped on I will bet. I didn't realize it came with the awning poles, these are very underwhelming, kind bent already and don't lock in any way, there is some concern here. Also impressive is it's actually very light when compared to other easy setup tents, I was surprised here. Overall looks well built few details may be a porblem but overall setup and takedown (with practice) is a pretty easy one man job. Now let's see how long it lasts.

Not a bad tent if you put a little attention to detail when setting it up
My soon-to-be Eagle Scout son and I are actively involved in the Boy Scouts. We have extensive experience in camping, and we are no strangers to camping in the rain, which often leaves our gear soaked. Over the years, we've experimented with various tents in the hope of finding a solution that would allow us to set up quickly and keep our gear dry.During our latest camping trip, where it poured down rain, we put this pop-up tent to the test. The tent's standout feature is its rapid setup - just a toss, and it pops right up. Securing it with stakes and guide wires takes a bit more time, but you can easily do this after placing your gear inside the tent.****To those who have complained about the setup time or gear getting wet during assembly, I'd like to emphasize that these issues are more likely due to user error than the tent itself. Also, it's crucial to remember to place a tarp under the tent and ensure it's tucked in properly, leaving no exposed edges to keep you dry.I highly recommend applying a hydrophobic spray to re-waterproof the tent, especially focusing on the seams, before your first use. While we stayed dry during our trip, we did identify a few spots that could have used extra waterproofing, so we'll be better prepared next time. Now, let me address what didn't quite meet our expectations with the tent. The tent's advertised size is considerably misleading. I'm a larger individual at 6'1" and 300lbs, and my son is 6'3" and 220lbs, yet there was barely enough room for us and our gear. I would estimate that this tent can comfortably accommodate three average-sized adults with their gear at most. If you have smaller kids, you could probably fit 4-5 without backpacks. My most significant concern, one that might deter me from using this tent in the future, is the considerable sag in the roof that leads to water pooling during rain. Given the tent's already low roof, brushing against it will result in getting wet. We spent a considerable amount of time trying various ways to secure the tent to prevent pooling, but we were unsuccessful. It's possible that this is a manufacturing issue with our specific tent, or it might be a common problem with all of them. To address this issue, additional guide wires around the central poles would be beneficial. In summary, this tent isn't a bad choice, but it does require attention to detail and good camping skills when setting it up to ensure a comfortable experience.***I'd love to speak with the manufacturer about the roof sag if you are listening.
