Buy it. Solid Pine.
Some of the boards are warped, and it didn’t sit level and I had to shim the legs. The product is solid pine and holes lined up well. The style is MCM and the color is the yellow brown that suites the style. The product is difficult to put together, and if you can’t turn a screw driver this is not for you, or find a man that do it for you. Furthermore, it’s a two person job and took about a hour. This is not simple ikea furniture. We will be buying more furniture from this company. Good value for price.

a few issues, but otherwise great TV stand
starting off with the cons:The box came very damaged. I was a bit scared that I'd be missing pieces with how it came, but the only thing I didn't find in the box was the drawer slides, which I wasn't too heartbroken about. A few other reviews said that they were plastic and didn't work very well, and I don't plan on using the drawers very often. If I did, I probably would replace them with metal drawer slides instead anyway (which I'll do if I really end up missing the drawer slides that much). One of the center divider pieces was broken (it snapped in half), but with the way it broke, I was still able to use it. It's not bearing any weight so it's not a big deal to me considering I was able to salvage it. You also can't tell that it broke when looking at it from the front. I think this happened due to the damage in transit, and how the box came to me.It was also a bit of a pain to put together. I'd suggest using some power tools to save your back and hands. It took me a few hours by myself, and the pieces were a lot heavier than I was expecting. The instructions were pretty simple to follow along with though, as long as you pay attention to all the little letters and whatnot.weird thing:For some reason, I ended up with a bunch of extra little screws and plastic pieces, as well as a fabric pull tab (?), that were not included in the instructions, and clearly weren't meant for this TV stand. These were obviously included by mistake, but really made no difference to me, just confused me for a couple minutes while I re-read the instructions a few times lol.and the pros:I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this thing is! The pieces are all very thick and heavy and support each other well.I absolutely love the look of it. I am incredibly specific about the style and function of the things I buy, and this was exactly what I was looking for.It also came early! Which was fantastic. I was really excited to get it.overall:Despite the few issues I ran into, I am actually really happy with my purchase. I love it so far! I like that it's raised up off the ground a few inches, so I can easily reach the power strip underneath/behind that I have my TV and consoles plugged into. It's also shorter than my previous TV stand, so it doesn't feel like I'm breaking my neck just to look at the screen. I also like the combination of drawers and open shelves, so I can hide all my junk (DVDs, console accessories, etc.) and keep it looking nice and tidy.

Was skeptical at first, but love my purchase
For the price and quality you cant go wrong. Ok I started the unboxing and got a little overwhelmed. I was reading the reviews and another review commented said keep going it will be with it when it’s done and take your time and boy was he right. That really motivated me to finish. And I was so happy with the overall look and quality. I bought 2 of them to put side by side. The first one took 3 1/2 hours because I took a break in between. Second one took 2 hours as I was more familiar. I would not recommend using any power tools, remember even high end wood turn you can damage with power tools so take your time i promised it will be worth the time. Super happy with this purchase, great quality for the value oh what an amazing look. Also made in Brazil not China. 😂

Amazed
One of my best purchases. Arrived early right to my door, in the rain, 2nd floor. The driver even found a dry spot to leave the package. The packaging from the factory was the best I've seen for RTA furniture. Minimal amount of foam, yet every piece was well wrapped and secure. Very easy to dispose of and break down for recycling.Instructions written in plain English were helpful, but could have been more detailed. I really had to pay attention to ensure I assembled correctly. Despite the abundance of screws and dowels, was not that difficult. I will try to attach pics of a few of the steps I thought needed more direction and show how the parts go together. I was really surprised there were no videos of how to assemble given the popularity of this piece. Now that I have it all assembled it looks like something that was delivered pre-assembled from a high end furniture store. I don't think anyone would ever guess it was flat pack, or how little I paid for it.It really doesn't look like pine. I normally think of country pieces from the 80s when I here pine. I had no idea pine could look so nice.Regarding the instructions, attaching the door glides to the frame pieces were quite the puzzle. Basically you want the longer portion toward the front, but not all the way to the edge. There's an inch or two gap between the front of the frame and start of the glide then about 3 or 4 inch gap to the back of the frame, however, I think it will still work even if you turn it the other way. Likewise, the separator panel on each side of the middle drawer has glides on both sides of the board. That isn't spelled out well either.I did add a little wood glue to a few parts but not sure its needed. The risk is that you might discover you put a piece on backward and need to redo it.Was pleasantly surprised to see the cabinet was made in Brazil. Its clear they take pride in their work.Highly recommend. This was a very pleasant experience all around.
