The "polvilho doce" alone makes it for mushy cheese bread. Mixing it with "polvilho azedo" you get the ideal consistency. Amafil is one of the best brands.

Very good for making Pão de Queijo. Just be aware that one bag makes many of those, you might need help for eating those.

Very good taste and texture

This is the only flour I will ever use to make pao de quiejo. I moved outta Mass a few months ago and Amazon seems to only have this real sour manioc. I'm a little bummed about the pricing. I have seen it fluctuate quite a bit. My 1st order was $4 per bag, got 3 bags. My last order it was $11/12 bucks per bag, I got 1 bag. And that was AFTER seeing it go down from $17 per bag. Hope it doesn't last too long or I won't be buying often.
