This bowl is the closest we came to having a bowl that my cat can’t tip water out of, but he still figured out how to do it. I got the MyGift 8 Inch Round Gray Concrete Indoor Plant Pot with Drainage Hole, Succulent Flower Planter and put it in with a few folded piece of corrugated cardboard between the two secure it (see pic) and finally, finally he is no longer able to dump water on the floor. Monster :-)

See the cute orange cat? He would always knock his bowl over both the food bowl and water bowl, its tiring to either clean it and a waste of cat food. These bowls work really well they are really heavy and look nice. My cat was able to scoot them a bit and some water would come out. I do have a little advice: you don't have to use the wooden stands if you remove the stands the bowls wouldn't move. 10/10 I do recommend.

Buy this bowl. Just buy it! One of our cats has an obsession with water. She was knocking over every single water bowl/fountain/etc. I was so tired of cleaning up water every single morning. We bought this bowl, and after a few weeks, she still hasn’t been able to tip it over! She tries, but it’s too heavy for her to move. We love it!

Okay, I have tried SO many options for my cat. My cat LOVES to tip over any water bowl I give him, whether it’s small, large, aluminum, ceramic, even tried a few different fountains. NOTHING worked for him, he would continuously tip over his water regardless of the bowl or freshness of the water. I went through everything I could find, and finally saw this. I read the reviews and a lot of other people who had the same problem seemed to like this bowl, so I figured I’d give it a chance. Couldn’t get any worse I figured! I have now been using these bowls for just over a month now, and he hasn’t tipped it once! I FINALLY have a water bowl that my cat can’t tip over :)I HIGHLY recommend these bowls for your pet. They’re sturdy, durable, and pet approved! And they’re also pretty cute so that doesn’t hurt either ;)

We have 2 cats and had been using smaller lighter weight for their food and water. One of the cats would turn the water bowl over and I'd have a lot of water on the floor to mop up. These bowls solved the problem. They have weight but not too heavy - just right. With the stands, they are so attractive. The cats don't care about them being attractive, but I do.

I purchased this because I needed to find something that my cats will not tip over and spill water everywhere. They can still tip it over, even though it is quite heavy, however it does not happen as often. Happy with my purchase.

I have a young cat that would manage to move a polish pottery ceramic bowl off of a silicone mat sloshing water. If that wasn't enough, he would look me in the eye, take his paw and dump the whole bowl. I tried several different bowls that he could still move and/or tip. I've had this new bowl now and there has been NO water on the floor. The fact that it is slightly elevated also helps my elderly cat and elderly Chihuahuas. I don't normally write reviews, but this is a great product!

The dish is beautiful and does a good job, I just have a cat that likes to smack her water and it’s just not the best fit for her. My male cat, it’s perfect for.
