I bought a size XS for our 6-year-old and S-M for our 9-year-old; both fit well and have some room for growth. The kids took to it right away, and these seem much more comfortable and easier to get the hang of than a traditional mask and snorkel.Safety note: there are a lot of similar products on the market, and not all manufacturers are equally conscientious about keeping the exhaled air from mixing with the new fresh air, which over time could lead to CO2 buildup inside the mask and dizziness or other symptoms. This mask uses a three-channel snorkel (some of the cheaper products have only a single tube) and dedicated exhaled-air channels around the edge of the mask. Of note, those channels are open on one side, relying on the silicone around the edge of the mask to complete the seal, and their cross-sectional area is much smaller than that of the exhaust tubes in the snorkel. I inspected it pretty carefully and am convinced that it's safe for extended use, although I'd really like to see manufacturers use larger internal exhaled-air channels (so there's less backpressure), surround them completely with rigid plastic (although I suppose that makes the molding process more complicated), and put the inlet port (top of the center channel of the snorkel tube) at least an inch or so higher than the exhaust ports to minimize recycling of the exhaled air. Still, this mask works pretty well, and looks to be at least as well engineered as anything else in this price range.

My daughter is 2 years 4 months old and it fits great. The mask is perfectly designed to form to the child’s face. We live in Hawaii and although she can't swim yet, she can snorkel with her floaties or on a boogie board. She loves it. The price is unbeatable. I have and will continue to recommend this to everyone I know.

Once we solved the issue with water coming into the snorkel opening at the top it works beautifully. I feel like the snorkel part that sticks out of the water should be longer. If they tilt their head down at all, water comes into the open slots at top of snorkel and they have to rip the mask off. I cut a pool noodle and placed it around the snorkel and added a cup holder flotation to help block out water. I have to say I’m quite impressed with my modifications. You cannot understand or hear the kids with the Mask On. I imagine it will be difficult to put back on while in the ocean as I I am an able to put it on him while I am floating in the pool. We tried regular snorkel sets and even had swimming lessons for a regular snorkel, but he failed to master it. He was able to master the snorkel mask in about five minutes. He does say it is a little tight on the seal around his face-But in order to be watertight, it needs to be snug.

Just returned from holiday. Purchased 2 for our kids. 7&6 yrs old. Our 6 yrs old son was uncomfortable with regular mask with a mouth piece and ended up not snorkeling last yr. I gave this mask a chance and....he couldn’t stop. Our daughter as well which was quite expected but for our son, tmask gets all the credits! Easy to breathe and both kids (totally not trained for snorkeling) could had stayed on the surface of water for a long time. So long that I got worried if they were ok lol. Strongly recommended to moms and dads who have a sensitive/very careful child.

This was a gift for my sons 7th Birthday and he loves it!! In fact now all my kids want one. We just ordered another one for my other son who is turning 9 in a weeks time. Took us a couple strap adjustments to get the right fit but once we did it held up great to all the ocean swimming my son was doing. They found some amazing seashells because of this mask!

I spent about 15 minutes teaching my sons how to properly put the masks on and quickly remove them if the seals broke and filled with water. I was nervous about them at first but within 5 minutes in the pool they both mastered the masks and were diving, snorkeling and swimming for hours. The measuring guide was perfect for their faces. Be sure the straps are snug but not tight, if the face seal crushes or wrinkles it will leak. The mask is well designed as there are one way valves in the muzzle to let air escape back through the snorkel so you arent re-breathing the exhaled air and the float stoppers work great. As mentioned before they can easily dive to the bottom of the pool and come back the surface without having to clear the snorkel. Very satisfied with this product.

These are excellent my kids love them. You can go underwater and nothing goes in!! No putting your mouth on anything neither you just breathe normally

My child fainted in the water while using this snorkeling mask last week. He is still living in the hospital. The doctor said that the fainting was caused by the lack of oxygen in the bratin.for children ,brain hypoxia is a very serious safety accident .If the hypoxia is too long , it will produce some sequelae to the child ,such as coma ,deencephaly ,seizure-like convulsions , myoclonic seizures,and loss of brainstem reflexes, respiratory respiratory paralysis, increased intracranial pressure, brain cell edema and brain death.For children't s things ,I always take safety as the first considation,but my children have such problems when using this mask ,which makes me very self-blame ,because I did not choose the safest snorkeling mask for my children .this snorkeling mask has serious safety problems .Asking Amazon to remove this dangerous product as soon as possible is also a guarantee for shoppers.
