Our Fruit Pectin Powder's thickening is activated by sugar, so you do need a full sugar recipe to get results. Pomona Pectin is activated by calcium, so needs far less sugar than ours. Thank you!

Q: Can your pectin be used for instant/freezer/uncooked jam?

Our Fruit Pectin should be able to be used in uncooked jam. Make sure you mix the pectin powder with your sugar before adding to liquids to avoid clumps. Thank you!

Q: What is the expiration date (how many months, years, etc - I realize the exact date will vary)?
