Keeps Baby’s Attention
We received Play from the hospital when our daughter was born. So I knew we would love Move, too! It has great pictures, short and catchy sentences. My daughter loves this book.

Lovely but miss the mark
These books are beautiful and I myself like them a lot. But that's not what I'm looking for in a baby book. Baby photos, particularly faces, are the most developmentally appropriate types of books for the age 6 months took about 1 year give or take. So that part is great. But, they went for style over function. All of the babies I tried this series with failed to connect to the grayscale images, especially the ones where the child wasn't looking at the camera. And why would they? What they know of people and the world is in color. At this age, connections to everyday experiences and reality are what matter. They aren't wanting to be artistic or have a nuanced view of it, because the real thing is very fresh and new for them and still needs exploring. I ready wanted to like these, but can't as they fail in their ultimate purpose.

Great book for babies and young toddlers
Babies love seeing other babies. As I had hoped, my 14 month old loves these books. He giggles at the pictures and looks at me with the sweetest smiles. They all have little sentences next to the picture that rhymes to keep the babies' attention. You'll no doubt see a baby that reminds you of your little one and some of the pictures are very adorable. They have all types of babies, all colors and all genders and it's lovely to be able to show your baby so many other little ones.

Good addition for a first library
Great board book for little ones. The photos grab their attention, and the illustration explain the action. Reading the book out loud to a tot makes it interactive, giving the little one a chance to act out the action. It's a good addition to a first library.

A moving baby is a happy baby!
This little board book will delight small children with adorable black and white photos of babies. Alternating pages have cute illustrations in pastel colors behind the large text describing what baby is doing. Each set of words can be acted out with baby while reading it, adding an interactive element to a really simple book. "Bounce baby, bounce" will make almost any baby or toddler squeal with laughter.
