Awesome Capacity Battery Pack
The unit arrived within 2 days of ordering & was very well protected in a large padded box.On un-boxing I was impressed by the solid build quality & compact size which belies its 400wh rating. The lower half on the unit is aluminium with the top half (which houses all the inputs & outputs) being plastic. There’s a robust carry handle with rubber grip points top & bottom. The display screen which has a backlight timeout of around 30 seconds is bright & clear.I particularly liked the mobile phone tray on the top, very handy. There are a plethora of output ports on the unit with 6 x USB (3a max), 1 x USB C (quick charge 3.0 compatible), 1 x 12v 5a max (requiring a 5.5mm 2.1mm pin dc lead), 1 x 12v 10a max (with external 12v car accessory socket), 2 x 240V UK mains sockets (300W max) & car battery jump start port (with crocodile connectors)(See attached pictures for included accessory leads)Charging is via mains charger (included), 12v/24v car/leisure battery (cable included) or via solar panel (cable included)Powering on (also required for charging) is via the front mounted power button which lights up the control display. To give you a better idea of the size of the power bank see the photos for a comparison with a Celestron 17ah power tank & Skywatcher 7ah power tank.As you can see the size of the Poweroak unit is about mid-way between the Skywatcher 7ah & Celestron 17ah power tanksThe 5.6kg weight of the unit also puts it mid-way between the Skywatcher 7ah (3.1kg) & Celestron 17ah (7.1kg) power tanksTestingPowering my two astro-photography set-ups via 12V freedom to camp at dark sky sites & I hoped this battery would provide me with that freedom.I use a Resmed Escape II S8 machine which can be powered by either mains or by 12/24V (with Resmed’s 12V voltage regulator)As the Poweroak battery’s 12V supply is already regulated I went ahead with the test without the pricey Resmed regulator! The Resmed CPAP is rated at 100-240V or 12V 2.5AI tested twice, once using the 12V supply (using a tip negative cable) & once using 240V supply via the inverter, both times the CPAP machine was used for approx 8 hours & both times I had the same result.I’m happy to say that 8 hours sleep didn’t even put a dent in the charge, both times the battery still registered 100% charge in the morning (higher than 80%), this is an amazing result!I know results may differ from person to person depending on what pressure your CPAP is set-up for & how deep you breath during sleep (the CPAP needs to maintain a constant pressure at all times to be an effective treatment) but I can confidently say you’ll get 5 nights from one charge of the battery. For a final test I plugged my HP Pavillion G (AMD A6) laptop into the unit’s 240V output & continuously streamed HD films via ethernet for 10 hours when battery finally clicked down to 20% charge, impressive as the laptop power supply is rated at 90W.During the test the battery’s display was showing an 80W draw whilst charging the laptop battery & approx 28W once the battery was charged.I can comfortably say I’m more than happy with my purchase as it covers all my mobile power needs.I hope this helps you in your search for more power!

Perfect little portable generator
Purchased this inverter to use in our travel trailer caravan. And It works great!I've been using this little generator for days and it's still running strong. Charging my phone, watch , camera ,laptop and more. Took it with me while filming on a hiking so I could charge the camera and power some lights. This thing is compact and sturdy and I look forward to using it more and more. I might buy the solar panel so I can charge it while out in nature for days .Overall great generator.

Great bit of kit
Delivered very quickly and very well packed. Before taking it camping I charged to full and plugged in my camping compressor fridge, it ran for 24 hours before the battery depleted. The display said the fridge was drawing 45 watts (when the compressor kicked in for a minute every 3 or 4 minutes).A few weeks later I took it camping... pre chilled my fridge to 2 degrees C, packed in 6 freezer blocks, a frozen 2 litre bottle of water and my food the set off to the campsite armed with a 120W solar panel amongst all the other camping paraphernalia. For the first day the fridge didn’t draw anything as the freezer blocks kept thing cold, with the solar panel plugged into the power oak it showed around 20 to 30 Watts charging it (overcast day) at the same time my iPad/phone/fridge was plugged in. At night I had USB camping lights running from it.I left the campsite several days later with an almost fully charged power oak, fully charged phones, torches etc and a cold drinks in the fridge for the return journey! It’s not small, it’s not huge either and perfectly fine for what I want it for, the only slightly annoying thing is, when it’s switched on it has a quite bright LED lights that if you are sleeping in the same room/tent compartment, will light up the place in complete darkness. The display is handy to see the current battery level, the rate of charge and the rate of power being used.Came with a car 12V cigarette type power adaptor that will allow you to plug in your car accessories etc.Very happy with the poweroak and keep it charged in case of emergencies/power cuts, will definitely keep the freezer/fridge in the kitchen and the fish tank heater going for a while!

Amazing
Its perfect, it does everything, its great for boat. Has massive power, runs so many things, and I even bought a solar panel for the top of the boat to keep it charged. Saved me a lot of hassle and money installing new battery bank in my boat. This is a great product. It comes with all the connectors you need, 12v socket, lots of different leads, even for a solar panel, its amazing.

A great start - but if you go camping, you realistically need at least two!
A CPAP machine, at full charge, the 400Wh battery only lasted two nights (six hours of use per night), plus a single camera recharge. Realistically we will would have to purchase two, to run the laptops for the kids.Likewise, recharging is the equivalent of an EV, seven plus hours. So you can imagine, having to find a plug and seven hours recharge every second day is pretty tedious (and having to keep a continual eye on it incase of theft) when out and about with kids is a burden. We tried a number of days to use the 12v in the car to recharge, even after five hours driving, didn't make any discernible impact. But very clever and effective piece of kit. A 1000Wh one would be great. Or even some extensional batteries to plug into the existing product? Overall, great purchase, will get lots of future use I suspect.Only getting four stars because I think the capacity could be higher.
