This was the exact size as the original that had become cracked. Four stars instead of five because the original had a completely flat bottom and this one had a logo and pattern embossed into the bottom so I had to get creative with where I put the hole for the drain.Due to where the drain comes through the floor in our laundry room, I had to rotate the base 90 degrees (which happens to work in this case) to find a flat enough spot on the bottom to drill the drain hole. If you are draining from the side, shouldn't matter, but if your drain is on the bottom, you may need to add silicone caulking or find some other way to seal the drain as the ridges from the logo and other ridges may land your drain on an uneven spot. Otherwise, everything else is great - it will do what it was made to do - prevent flooding and ceiling damage below the laundry room.This tray came with a drain fitting, rubber washer, and tightening nut.

Pan was installed under a stacked washer/dryer combo, in a closet. The washer/dryer was already installed, so installation of the pan was a little difficult due to the lack of room in the area of installation. After raising the appliance to slide the pan underneath, the appliance came down sooner than expected and accidentally rested on the side of the pan. I was afraid it was going to crush the pan, rendering it worthless. However, once re-positioned, the pan appeared to have little more than a small crease, that went back into shape with a light pass with a heat gun. You cannot even tell anything happened. It works great, and is extremely durable.

OK. It's not super-thick plastic. It's not aluminum. But, it does EXACTLY what I needed it to do. My laundry room is on the second floor. So, if my washing machine should leak, it could cause some serious damage to my house. I didn't have this little doo-dad and my washing machine started to leak!! I immediately freaked out and stopped using the machine. When the technician finished, he asked why we didn't use a tray. To which, I had no valid response.I did some research and decided to purchase this one. It took me about 12 seconds to mount the drain and about another 5 minutes for my son and me to lift the machine into the tray. Now, I don't lose 2 seconds of sleep should my machine leak again. I just needed something that will catch and divert any leaks to the giant drain behind the machine.Easy Peasy.

It was really difficult to get this installed, and it could NEVER take the weight of a dryer. The first one showed up broken from shipping (poor packing). I like the product, and it's doing its job, but it was super challenging to install because I had to literally lift the washing machine in to the slot.I would suggest to the manufacturer that the product should be about 3 times the thickness. It's just under-engineered for the job. It does ok but it could be a lot better.

The rating is not about the item itself. It is about Amazon saying this is a 'Like New' item when it clearly was not. Like new items show no signs of use let alone wear and tear. The item I received was very much used in what I would've considered 'Acceptable' condition given it was not broken but was definitely scuffed and scratched up on the bottom, the inside and the top edge but was ultimately still usable.The item itself is fine and serves its purpose as an overflow/drip pan for a chest freezer. As mentioned earlier, although the item was used, it was in Acceptable condition and contained no cracks or holes. It's not thin or flimsy but there is some flex to it. All in all I would but again if I needed one.

I have an 'old fashioned' apartment size fridge that defrosted and got the floor all wet after a power outage.The lip on this tray is 2.5 inches high, so if you're using it for this purpose, make sure you have clearance for the fridge door. My only wish is this company would make trays for this specific purpose. This is for washing machines and it's only by sheer luck it worked for my fridge situation. Maybe the Oatey company would consider it.

We put this under our leaky washing mashine to be able to keep on using it without damaging our floor, until we could replace the thing. It worked just fine, as intended. Once we finally replaced the machine, it made a great floor protector for our natural Christmas tree that needed daily watering. Keeping!

Good fit for our washer as it doesn't have a floor drain being on the main floor, so nice insurance in case of a leak.

Bought this as an extra measure of leakage protection for an apartment rental unit. The tray moved easily into place under the washer and the edges were flexible enough that it allowed us to move the washer over the edge to get it properly situated. This is a smart thing to buy and good protection for your floor should there be a leak.

The tray fits nicely under our stand-up freezer.It was a pleasure to be able to use it.
