where do we find the wood box frame???

Make one. I used 2x10s for the ends and sides, and a sheet of 1/2" good one side plywood for the bottom. I reduced the height of the sides to 7 1/2" from about 6" in from both ends to make the bed easier to get in and out of. The ends are the full 9 1/2". Mattress height at the firmness I like is about 8". The frame was glued and screwed together with #8 screws. Good strong corners are important so I used 5 - #8x3 1/2" screws each corner. The inside dimensions of the frame must be correct as recommended by the manufacturer. The frame sits on a pedestal built from 2x10s, the same length as the frame and 10" narrower in width. I used 3 boards for the length, and capped and cross braced the width.

How many gallons to fill the bed? Just wondering on total weight once filled.

The firmness you like determines the amount of water you put in the mattress, so there is no exact answer. My mattress is about 8" tall, so 8" x 38" x 84" = 25,536 cubic inches, divided by 231 cubic inches per gallon = about 110 1/2 gallons x 8.35 pounds per gallon = 922.7 pounds. I hope this helps.

do 2 twin bladders equal a king mattress?

2 twins would be 76” wide while a king is only 72” wide. However, you wouldn’t want to put 2 twins side by side. Aside from heating issues, the crack between them would be annoying in the least as possibly an usage issue.
