I'm happy with this! It works better than expected.
The media could not be loaded. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the views about water flow etc...I'm using mine on a plunge pool, so I attached the pumps inlet onto the pool's outlet and put the other pipe over the top of the pool.At first the flow didn't seem to work, however I figured this might be the case given the way I had it set up and gravity. So I did the old suck-to-start which kicked it into action. Once flowing, the pump keeps it going at a good rate. Ideally it'd start itself, however it's cheap.After about 30 mins I stopped it and checked the filter, which was rather dirty already, so I'm happy with that.I've seen some reviews that there aren't any replacement filters, but from what I can tell, this is a type 2 filter as it has a 2 on it. There seems to be plenty of these online, so I don't think it'll be a problem.Very happy with it for the day one use. I'll pop back if it suddenly stops working.For what it's worth, I plan to use it say once or twice a week, given my pool is outside and the pump requires plugging in.Pretty happy 😊. Saves refilling the whole thing every week.In terms of the products itself, it is bigger than expected, but not too big. Assembling is really easy too. Feels good quality.If you get the water flowing well it's very quiet, even if not so great, it's still quiet.5/5 imo. Does what I need it too.

works well, the lead is shorter than expected and shorter than original pump it was replacing
it was smaller than expected as compared it to original pump and lead shorter needing extension. a bit disappointed in it. using original one when a friend made a replacement seal for it.

Does what it needs to
This pump does exactly what it needs to, not overly powerful but just enough for our 8ft pool. After using it constantly for a little over 2 months the pump stopped getting power to it. Emailed the seller and a new one is being sent out. Brilliant customer service

Works perfectly for our 8ft pool. Noticed a huge difference when using the pump compared to without. Great value compared to other brands.

Compact but beware!….cartridge issues
Whilst the pump itself is good even though a little noisy, I have come to buy a new filter and the company that sold it says it doesn’t do replacement cartridges!! How ridiculously is that!Did find some on Amazon that I THINK will fit so fingers crossed or I am going to be cross!

Filters out grass
I wasn’t sure this pump was doing anything at first but when putting the pool away the filter was filthy and full of the grass the kids like to drag into the pool. Does need cleaning regularly but so much easier than trying to fish out the grass by hand

Filter pump
Hoses seem short. Recommended pump be 2 ft from pool but hoses are barely long enough causing the pump to want to fall over..pressure ain't great
