Have an older 18v Dewalt Drill that works great still but it's batteries were just not holding a charge for any decent length of time. Bought these on a whim to replace them and they are great so far! Little tight fit for battery ease of removal and on drill but that's a small complaint for the value. Same weight as the original batteries and overall the yellow color and appearance are a good look.

I had heard mixed reviews about investing any money in an older drill, but decided to take a chance on these batteries and am glad I did. Works seamlessly with my older DeWalt drill, and restored full function at a low cost.

The short version: Would Not Recommend. Ever.The battery jammed and would not allow me get it out of my DeWalt Reciprocating Saw. I was afraid I was going to damage the device when trying to pry the battery out. I finally had to loosen screws in the base of the saw to get the battery out - while prying with a screwdriver. I returned the two batteries. Buyer beware.

These batteries work great! I was afraid they might not since they are not original Dewalt, but they do! They charge well and the charge lasts longer than my older batteries. The price was right! Great purchase!I bought them to replace the dead units DC9099 and I'm glad I didn't pay around the $100 per piece for the Dewalt originals.
