Very bad for the following reasons
Very bad for the following reasons:1 - if you decide to use the dish washer it will loose the shine cover in the first wash2 - either hand wash or dish washer, the ravioli maker will accumulate water inside (as the device is made in two pieces: upper and lower) and you have to keep shaking very hard to have some drops removed from the inside3 - the height of the inner divisions are two small, so even if you make a very thin dough (which is not recommended for filling pasta) when you pass the roll you cannot have the raviolis cut. You have to make so much effort to try to have them cut that you have filling spread out everywhere.4 - even when you use a lot of flour to avoid raviolis sticking in the maker, they stick anyways. Specially because of the force you have to apply (for nothing) with the roller to make them cut.simply irritating. It was worth doing all the raviolis by hand and cutting is with a knife even if it is not perfectly all the same size and shape.

Not easy to use
Full disclosure, I hated this and almost threw it away immediately after trying to use it. Part of this was my fault, when I read that it was 1 and 1/4 inch ravioli I thought that was the portion for inserting the filling. It's not. That's from edge to edge. The filling part is only about a 1/4 of an inch deep and 1/2 long. Basically, it holds NO filling.I thought the decorated edges with rolling pin would make it easy to separate the raviolis from each other and I was very wrong. I ended up having to try and cut them out with a knife anyway. The decorative edges just got in the way at that point. The incredibly small ravioli are also a pain to get out of the pan. I was unable to get them out efficiently and ended up throwing out the entire batch and just making them the old fashion way.I will not be using this for ravioli again. I hate wasting money though so I'm currently trying to think of different uses for it. My son likes to paint so I may use it for paints.

I know how cannelloni was invented
I think I know how cannelloni was invented. These ravioli are tiny - like 1.5 peas/corn kernels of filling. I think the other review must not have been reviewing the same product.I made one tray trying to be skimpy on the filling to not overfill and most of them spilled into the seam. I made another tray with a tiny tiny bit of filling that worked then I decided to make cannelloni for dinner instead. ie. I just rolled the filling in a sheet of pasta. This press is not open underneath (to press the ravioli out) so you have to work harder to get them out, added to the fact that they are so small that you will likely give up unless you have a very specific need for very tiny ravioli - I wouldn't recommend it. But 3 stars because it will in fact make tiny ravioli if you really need that. But that's probably not what you want.
